Hi, Thank you so much for your advices for the last post, as you say I decided not to change colours of flowers!

I said that I will post regularly, though I was concentrating on stitching this so much, I was forgetting to post photos of this on my blog, silly me (lol)

Here are some photos of my progress.
I stitched satin stitch for all around the square, and flowers are finished.

Now as you see above, I stitched only half stitch in the small square in yellow, it looked bad when I stitched cross stitch in that area somehow, so I'm leaving them at the moment...

Here are bugs appeared...
You may know, I don't like bugs, so it was feeling quite yuk to stitch them, I know about myself so stitched flowers and bugs first!
When I saw the chart sample photo, I was thinking they are field peas (lol), but were not!
They are green caterpillars!! mmmm...

Geeee, grasshopper!
I haven't been stitching their antennae and birds' feet yet.

And what colourful insects they are!
Do they exist in the real life, such blue feet bugs???
I think I became tough than before to catch insects because for Tass, though...
whew, but they were gone, I only have to do back stitch for them!

And here is a photo of whole piece.
I have to stitch spiders (it looks quite cute as they are very small...) before I forward into the square that I'm looking forward to stitch so much!
And also, "Buttonhole-Bar Stitch" that I have to search how to do.

But! I'm going to take a break for a while because I think I've got cold, not flu, though...
I think I did over work! :(

2012's First WIP - Birds Of Killingworth 1

Hi, belated Happy New Year to you all!

From the end of the last year to this month, we have been remodeling Tass's room and so couldn't update this blog for so long.
But I have been stitching a little by little and decided to stitch "Birds of Killingworth" © The Stitching Parlor that I wanted to stitch for a long long time as my 2012's first work.

Once I gathered the threads that the chart calls for, they were very different and very bright than the chart photo.
So I have been choosing threads that are similar to the photo.

Now I'm stitching very fun and very delicate part (Satin stitch).

I was sure but when I saw the chart photo again, I realized that I've made a mistake that stitched different colour for flowers... sigh
But can't undo, it's too late, don't you think?

I'm very looking forward to keep stitching this sampler and will update regularly.

PS "Christmas Sampler II" Finished!!

Hi, it's a very cold day today, might be snowing a little bit later...
By the way, here is a finished piece of "Christmas Sampler II" © Prairie Schooler!!
I finished this yesterday, yes on a Christmas day, but couldn't update last night as I was so sleepy...

Isn't this very beautiful design?
I wanted to stitch all three patterns of this sampler, but it's beautiful so decided not to stitch two more other left patterns.

I love this so much, and this made me want to stitch more Christmas designs, so will stitch some more Christmassy patterns!
It's so fun time to choose what to stitch next! :D

Merry Christmas!

Hi, I wish you a very merry Christmas!
Today I'm feeling so sleepy from lack of sleep as Sweetie was so excited to receive Toy (LEGO Creator series) from Santa, and he couldn't sleep well and kept talking to me from a day before yesterday, lol

Here is an ornament that I've stitched a couple of years ago for the class (of course it was free) for beginners.
So I stitched on a fabric like Aida and had been leaving this for a long time in the drawer, but Tass's kindergarten asked some ornies to make if we can, so I finished this for the tree of them.

I shouldn't have done that, but I baked this finished piece with coffee, and it was a bit burned, lol

As every year, I prepared cookies and milk for Santa, and carrots for Reindeer before I go to bed.
This year, we were very busy on Christmas eve, and were forgetting to prepare, but Tass realized and told me to prepare for them.

This year, I left a message card for Santa.
I downloaded this lovely Thank you card from this wonderful blog.

This morning, when Sweetie went to the entrance, cookies, milk and carrots were gone!
But this year he was too excited to make LEGO that he has received, so he just said "Oh, they are gone!" ...

Santa left short message for him, though... he wasn't touched by it much this year, lol...

As every year, we ate chicken, and here is a snap of him eating it!

It's a very cold day today, and will be more colder from tomorrow... sigh

Here is my WIP "Christmas Sampler II" © Prairie Schooler.

It's nearly done, brown dots, back stitch, and leaves are left.
I hope I can be in time for this Christmas!!

I don't know why, but I am thinking to stitch more Christmas designs after this, although it will be over soon!
Or something about winter...

Finished Piece - "The Old West"

Hi, thanks for your visit!
The Christmas concert of Tass's kindergarten was held on Friday, and it was so fantastic, he was so good and also we mums performed on the stage, too!

By the way, this "The Old West" © Little House Needleworks was finished before I've had terrible headache, but was forgetting to update...

I took these photos in a dark room, so they don't show colour justice at all, it's more rich and more darker colour and really wonderful design!

I started to stitch this design for Sweetie, I thought he must like this kind of design, and yes he likes this! :D
I highly reccommend to stitch this design for little boy!

It's quite big project, but it was so fun to stitch along so I could finish this quite faster than usual.
And I loved this linen so much!

I've already bought a frame and mat for this design, so want to finish finishing, but it's quite difficult to frame these kind of design which have borders around, I will try to finish this in this year!

By the way, some friends sent me Christmas cards, and Carol R. sent toy cars for Sweetie and watercolours thread for me with a Christmas card.

His First Work + My WIP

Hi, thank you for your visit and comments!

Sweetie has finished his first cross stitch project a few days ago, and so I share some photos of his work and my WIP today.

His first project was Sea-Otter kit on blue 10ct fabric (6 strands).
Except the back stitch and start and the last of stitching, he did everything by himself.

Of course he made mistakes some times, but he did a quite good job!
So I can stitch mine beside him stitching.

He loved stitching, so he is exciting to start next project, I am thinking and choosing easy but lovely chart for his second project.

Now he is displaying this on his room's wall. :D
He is quite satisfied about his first work!

By the way, here are some photos of my WIPs.
One is "Zippity Do Da" © La-D-Da, I was thinking about the right fabric for this sampler,
and choose 32ct cream linen.

The letters I'm stitching now is recommended thread (DMC), but I'm thinking to change some colours for the other parts as the recommended threads are quite different from the photo of this chart.
Well I'll think about it later deeply.

And here is one of "Christmas Sampler II" © Prairie Schooler that I'm stitching now!

Hi, friends.
I have been stitching a little by little almost every day!
Now I have been stitching "Zippity Do Da" © La-D-Da, though I also have "Christmas Sampler II" © Prairie Schooler as my WIP, and the Christmas is coming soon, I will switch to "Christmas Sampler II" from "Zippity Do Da".

By the way, here are some gorgeous presents that I have received for a while ago.
I'm sorry that I couldn't update them for a long long time.
Here is Huswife from Merumo.
I participated in her Giveaway, and I wasn't selected for a winner, but she kindly make such beautiful needlebooks as second chance of her giveaway!

And luckily I was selected for the second winner!
As you see, how beautiful this Huswife is!!

Hi, thanks always for your visit!

Recently Sweetie has started to cross stitch together.
Seems he loves it, and is enjoying so much!

His first project is Sea-Otter on 10ct blue fabric with 6 strands.
He is quite good at stitching, so I can stitch beside him at the same time. :D

He finish his first project soon, so I think I can share his finished piece sometime soon!
And I bought 10ct beige fabric for him to start next project.

By the way, he is an only child, so he always asks me to play with, then we drew pictures in watercolours a few weeks ago.

Here is his drawing.
It was the first time for him to painted in watercolours, and he drew some animals in the forest. :D

And I don't like to draw much, but as his request, I drew my ex pet (companion animal) ; Mickey (Shiba Inu) as seeing her picture.
(I used watercolour pencils.)

Quite poor drawing, though... lol

I'm going to stitch "Zippty Do Da" from now!

All Our Troubles - Finished!!

Hi, friends!
About a week ago, I've finished this "All Our Troubles" © La-D-Da.

While without the berries, I thought that this is a little bit dark design, but when I've stitched red berries, it made this piece more beautiful!

I like this quiet pattern so much, and also would like to stitch "Zippity Do Da" © La-D-Da.
Now I checked the stitch count, they both are quite similar size, so I think if once I bought a frame, I would be able to use it for both pieces! :D

I stitched on 32ct Hand Dyed Jobelan (Queen Anne's Lace).
Isn't this beautiful on this fabric?!

I said that I want to stitch one more La-D-Da, though now I'm stitching Christmas design.
It's secret now, but when I could stitch a little bit more, I will show you someday later!

Our New Family

Hi, today I share some photos of our new family!!
Here they are!
Our new family ; Hamster calls "Ham chan" (male).
We have been having him since 1st of July.

He is so cute, but he is a nocturnal animal so most of daytime he is sleeping in the mushroom jar that is showed behind him on a photo above.
And then just after we turn off the light, he starts to move around!

His favourite food is, yes, sunflower seed!!
How lovely he is, he takes his food in his tiny hands and eating it! :D

These photos were taken when we started to keep him.
Now he is getting bigger than before, but always he is spinning so he doesn't became fat.
Envy him, lol

Tass decided to have him, and choose this Djungarian Hamster (Pearl White), and it may sounds a bit silly but, I think he is the loveliest hamster in hamster world! :D
He makes me so happy and feel so good, so I appreciate for him and also my sweetie Tass.

When he is sleepy his face looks very different.
I will update his sleepy photos someday later.

Hi, how are you?

This weekend, Tass and I stayed over at "Hoshinoko Yakata" with his friends.
As well as their mums are my good stitching friends.

Although we couldn't see Jupiter from the big astronomical because the weather wasn't good, we could have wonderful time together!

By the way, I heard that my friend Marie-P has received her parcel from Japan, I share some shots of our exchange piece.

We decided to do exchange for Easter in 2010, but as you may know I wasn't well for a long time, and so I've received her wonderful pinkeep last year but I hadn't been sending out mine to her for a long long time...

I always become in poor health between Spring and Summer, so I've started to stitch this piece for her in winter, though I couldn't finish finishing until now.

I stitched "Easter Bunny" © By The Bay Needleart on lavender linen, and framed in small white frame.
I used lavender color cloth for the background of this piece, and trimmed with lace.
And then added a small ribbon and pearl bead.

I had stitched two pieces so I presented another one for my friend's baby.
It's not so good frame actually, so added name on cloth with stamp, and added lace on them, too.

It was so good to hear that Marie-P received package safely and she was so happy to have it!

Here is my WIP from this month, "All Our Troubles" © La-D-Da.

At the moment I can't stitch on small count so I'm stitching on 32ct.
I have so many 40ct linens, so hope I will be able to stitch on 40ct again one day!

I often hear that most people like to stitch alphabets, but actually I don't like it...
Instead of stitching alphabets, I like to stitch and fill the blank area!
Now as I'm stitching alphabets, so it takes a bit of time than usual, I think...

Why I choose this design is there are only some colours in this design.
Actually I wanted to stitch more colourful and cheerful design, but I'm sure I won't be able to manage many of colours at the moment...

Now I'm thinking what to stitch next!
It's so enjoyable to stitch, now feeling so happy that I can stitch again!!

Nothing I can do...

Hello friends, thank you always for your visit and your comments.
I appreciate for you all.

In the last post, although I said I know why I have been suffering from so many symptoms, from these last few weeks, I'm in terrible condition.

Terrible headache which I have never experienced before, hard pain on eye balls, threw up so many times, etc... etc...

So I had visited so many clinics to see doctors, and had check up, but nothing bad was found.
But pain is still keeping me feeling so bad and negative even now.

So I can't do anything, I can't see anything small, especially letters on newspaper, and can't do Cross Stitch AT ALL!!!
That makes me so much stress...

Actually I shouldn't play with PC, though I just wanted to let you know that I will leave this blog for a while and that I won't be able to stitch anything for a while.

There are plenty of things that I want to do, so how sad I am now?

I can't stitch at all, so I was organized over dyed floss last night, just only few minutes, though from this morning, my neck doesn't move with stiff neck...
It looks like pigeon, not like stoop-shouldered, just my neck prominence, can't move back...

Now I should close my PC as my eyes ache, so when I'm OK I will tell you what kind of ill I have.
As I can't check my English with dictionary because I can't read small letters, I hope this message is understandable.
Please over look about my English (always!!).

Long time no see! I'm still stitching!

Hi! It's been so long since the last time I've posted!
More than one month?
But, I was still stitching, stitching is useful in getting rid of stress for me.

But the other hand, I haven't been well this past one month.
Almost every day I had headache, and also wasn't feeling well like car sickness...
I know why these symptons happen always to me, though I won't tell about it here at the moment.

I was going to finish, Mary Glover SAL, and also "Isabella Johnstone SAL (Private SAL)" with Terri, but as I have been having headache, I couldn't stitch over 32ct.
So I have changed the plan now.

I also was going to stitch this "The Garden Glade" © Carriage House Samplings on 36ct or 40ct, though I gave up and now am stitching this on 32ct Belfast Linen.

It uses so many threads as stitching two strands, though it's so fun to stitch along!
Actually I like to fill in blank area, so it's fun for me now to fill in! :D

Here is a photo of "The Garden Glade" progress of this afternoon.
Most of animals are appeared now, so fill in blank area and will stitch to the top area.

Whew, quite hard to stitch all this whole design, though isn't this beautiful already??
I love this colourful and cheerful design so much and wanted to stitch this so much, so now I'm am happy! :D

Tomorrow, I have to have counselling at clinic and am quite nervous today.
Because I have to face to my past bitter and hard life.
But Dr. said that it's the shortcut to cure this ill, so I will try to do so...

PS "Birth Sampler III" For UTA, Framed

Hi, it's been so long time.
I have been unwell again, somehow...
So haven't been stitching much recently, sigh ;(

By the way, I was forgetting to post this "Birth Sampler III" © Prairie Schooler for a long time!
This was a gift for my dear friend's baby girl, and I presented her when we met in Jan.

Her daughter, sweet Uta is so lovely, she was always smiling at me!! :D
I wasn't sure if my dear friend S. likes this (cross stitch work and this design...), but she was really pleased to receive this and so I was very very happy!!!

My dear friend and I always so enjoy our time, we are always chatting and laughing a lot even though this time it's been about 7 years since the last time we've met in person!!

Can you see the warped lines??
I think it was the first time for me to frame such design which has outer lines in it, and it was so difficult to adjust to frame...
Moreover, I miss cut fabric for this design (lol), so couldn't do beautifully more than usual...

I didn't like it (warped lines) so much, so said sorry to her about it, but she said "If you didn't mention it, I wouldn't realize about it! (lol)"
I shouldn't have told her!!! :p
But she said, if her darling daughter Uta realized about it one day when she grew up, she would tell her about miss cut fabric, LOL
She was just kidding, though!!

This time, I choose lame white frame with salmon pink outline, and added very light pink mat for this.
IRL, the frame and also the stitched piece are more lighter colour and soft, and it was quite lovely! :D
I'm planning to stitch this piece for my DS Tass someday in the near future!!

By the way, Tass became 6 years old yesterday!!!
How time flies so fast!! Can't believe, it's been 6 years already!!
He is thinking he became a very big boy, so didn't cry when he tripped over a stone and fell on his face "twice" today! lol
Good boy! :D

We are planning to hold a meeting of stitching group on Tuesday, although I'm not well.
I told them if I was lying down then, please laugh and forgive it! :p

Mary Glover SAL - 0503, and Freebie

Hi, it's been so long since the last time I've posted.
Every year this season (especially March and April), I've been not so well, and also my son had been ill these past few weeks, he had high fever for about a week, and couldn't eat anything at all...
It was cause of inflammation of the middle ears, and also he had adenovirus.
That's why he had high fever, and it took so long time to recover.

Now he has been OK, but am feeling not so well...

I've been working on Mary Glover SAL a little by little, but even I've tried so many times for over one part, I can't manage it, also have tried tent stitch, though...
I will practice them and will try it again, later!

Here is a rice stitch part, it's been a middle of way, though I'm enjoying to stitch this part so much!
But taking time a little bit, so am going to stitch #8 (last part) tonight!

And here is a satin stitch part, I stitched with one thread, though it looks like comb (lol), I mean skimpy looks, so I will stitch again with two strands!
I hope it will make it better! :D

This freebie looks like Miss Fiona, and so was excited to stitch her.
And I was going to finish to finish this for something (secret yet), and was going to present for my friend.
But as I mentioned I was not good, I couldn't make it and am so feeling guilty for my friend...

Anyway, I'm going to finish her later this month when I became feel better, and send it to her as a very belated Easter gift.

Now it's long public holiday (it is called "Golden week") in Japan, so want to take my son to go or visit somewhere fun!!

Isabella Johnstone SAL : Week #3 and #4

Hi, I had been busy since my son's spring holiday has started. But from today he goes to Kindergarten, so I think I have a little more time to stitch.

Here is a photo of SAL week #3. I carefully stitched stems and leaves as I had mistaken when I stitched week #1...
This is so fun design to stitch along!

And here is a photo of Week #4, finally a red cow my love has appeared! She is such a lovely cow, and she added very beautiful impact to this sampler.

I'm so enjoyed to stitch this sampler with Terri, although I had been stopping Mary Glover SAL and Anna Millet 1895 with Carol R.

I have been suffering from twisted neck and back almost everyday when I woke up, somehow... I think my pillow is not good for my present body??
It make my stitch work delay more and more... sigh

Here is Isabella Johnstone SAL with Terri. Actually from today Week #4 is started, so I'm very behind...

Here is a photo of Week #1. Normally I don't like to stitch leaves, though this is fun.

Here is a photo of Week #2, though I found a big mistake and had to frog them, as you can see the right side leaves and stems were already frogged...

And today I finshed Week #2. A photo isn't showing the colours justice, though it's so beautiful sampler. I'm going to stitch Week #3 and Mary Glover SAL, too.

Hi, Terri made a schedule for our Isabella Johnstone SAL! Thank you so much, Terri! Here are our plan! I haven't started Isabella yet, though she has already started and made a good progress! Oh I should hurry! :D

Week 1 - stitch the top, left and right side borders down to the eyelet stitches.

Week 2 - Stitch the top alphabet section down to the eyelet border (just above the cow)

Week 3 - left and right side borders down to the Isabella Johnstone.

Week 4 - stitch the eyelets and cow/grass section.

Week 5 - Stitch left and right borders to the bottom

Week 6 - Stitch the flowers and initials just below the cow and the flowers to the left of Isabella's name.

Week 7 - Stitch Isabella's name/date section and the flowers in the bottom left corner

Week 8 - stitch the flowers on the bottom right and the rest of the border at the bottom and we're done!

By the way, finally I can share some of my progress photos of Anna Millet, 1895 SAL with Carol R.. As for the SAL, I've shown my thread and fabric for it on the earlier post, but I have changed them...

Here is my new thread and fabric for Anna Millet, 1895. Belle Soie silk "Cranberry" on 40ct Wichelt (Sandstone / tea dyed).

Why I've changed the materials is... the linen I was stitching wasn't 40ct. I was thinking it was 40ct, but it was actually 36ct, so when I stitched with DMC, it looked very skimpy... I didn't want to undo, but decided to re-stitch on 40ct.

It's quite taking time to stitch along with overdyed thread (silk is fantastic touch!!), though now I'm feeling to finish this beautifully.

Carol R. has stitched almost half way, but as she knows that I've been doing re-stitch, she is waiting for me to catch her up!

Mary Glover SAL #1 and #2

Hi, since last week, my mum has been having cold, and now Sweetie Tass, too...
Mum is getting better, though Tass has quite high fever, but he is very fine, playing a lot in the house! :D
I hope I won't get their cold next!!

By the way, since after I finished "Sarah Spurr" © Carriage House Samplings, I have been stitching "Mary Glover SAL".
I didn't know about this wonderful SAL, but Merumo asked me to join in, too!
When I jumped to the SAL blog, I fell in love with this beautiful design and decided to join in soon!
Thanks Merumo for asking me to join in it!

Here is a photo of #1.
I'm quite not sure about this combination about this linen and thread (DMC)...
I'm stitching one thread of DMC on 36ct Edinburgh Linen (Sandcastle by Silkweaver), though it seems a bit weak...
And this linen was my first try, but it's quite soft and hard to stitch along...
I was going to use this linen for "Isabella Johnstone", too so am not sure what to do for it...

Here is a photo of #2. As I wrote above, though I decided to continue to stitch on this linen, as I didn't want to frog and undo!
Now I think I can figure out how to stitch better than before, I'm stitching very softly not tight, and it looks became better than the first! whew...

The next is #3, but it's one over one that I really don't like, huh don't like?
No, I'm not good at one over one very very much!!!
So I was going to back stitch for this part as borrowing graph of Aida version, lol.
But Merumo gave me advice to do tent stitch!
I have never thought about tent stitch, so I really appreciate for her advice!

By the way, I have been so worried about the earthquake in New Zealand...
I have experienced "Great Hanshin earthquake" or "Kobe earthquake" when I was young, so I know how it was scared.
There are many of Japanese people in Christchurch, too.

Hi, finally "Sarah Spurr" © Carriage House Samplings has finished!
It took more time to stitch outer frame than I thought, but it was very fun!

Here are some photos of "Sarah", it finished this afternoon and the weather wasn't good today, so I took these photos in the living room, that's why they are not good photos, though...
Especially the colour doesn't show well justice, in the real time this piece is so beautiful on this rich colour linen!

Here below is a photo of back of the linen that I stitched...
It's first time to show my stitched back, but this time I cared for back, too!
But I need more effort to stitch more beautifully as well as back, too.

Tomorrow my stitching group friends are coming here to my home with their kids to have lunch together as we mums are also this term's member of kindergarten.
And tomorrow we have to play paper theater for new kids to show!
I do a narrator and bear's mum's voice. :D
Tomorrow is a rehearsal for us, though I hope we can play well!

I've already sent the photo of "Sarah" via mobile phone to my stitching mamas, though everyone is looking forward to see her in the real life, tomorrow!

By the way, my next project has been changed!
Terri @ Chocolates for Breakfast; Stitching for Lunch and I will do Private SAL for "Isabella Johnstone", but she needs to buy and wait for her fabrics to arrive, so until then I'm going to stitch other design!

Next project is "Anna Millet, 1895" © Reflets de Soie and am going to do Private SAL for this with Carol R. @ iStitch.
I'm going to stitch from now, even only one cross before I go to bed.
Carol is stitching her another red sampler, and so she will catch me up later!
I know she is a fast stitcher, so it's lucky for me to make a premature start! :D

I choose 40ct Nina's original linen (very light pink), and DMC #815 for "Anna".
I hope this choice would be beautiful in the end...

It was a fine day today, not so cold, not windy, was a very comfortable day!
How's weather in your country?

BTW, here is my "Sarah Spurr" © Carriage House Samplings, I can't believe that I can stitch very faster than usual, it's so fun to stitch along like when I began cross stitch!!

Sarah is so beautiful, but I'm not sure the thread colours that I've changed...
What do you think? so far so good? or do I better to change somewhere in this piece??
I do hope everythings going well in the end!!

Tomorrow, my friends and our children will visit one of their home to let them play and of course as for us to stitch!

I'm going to write down my 2011's goal on the left side bar sometime soon, so I can figure out what to stitch next! :D

BTW, today was a "Setsubun", Sweetie came back from kindergarten with Ogre mask as every year!

This year's Ogre is also pretty, not scary at all! :D

And we made Rolled Sushi (Makizushi or Maki-Sushi) called "Eho-Maki" which brings happiness for us whom ate whole it as looking toward the years direction. (Sorry for my poor English...!!)

This year's direction was south-southeast, so we ate them as looked toward south-southeast.
We hope we will be able to be happy this year, especially hope to be in good health!

Hi, I was going to decrease my WIPs this year, though I couldn't resist to start this design that I had been longing to stitch for many years!!
It's been a long time to stitch on 40ct, but I love this 40ct Vintage Light Exampler (Lakeside Linens & Designs, Inc.)!

Here is a photo of Sarah's progress on 25th of Jan. I changed some thread colours, it's quite tough design, but I'm very enjoying to stitch along at the moment!

Prairie Schooler "Birth Sampler III" Finish!!

Last night, I decided to finish this sampler as I wanted to start another design.
I'm so happy that I could finish this earlier than I thought!
My dear friend went back to Tokyo, so when I found the right frame for this, I will send this sampler and some pressie for her in Tokyo!

This sampler is SO beautiful than I was thinking! Chart photo doesn't show this beauty justice, it's so lovely in the real life!!
It's just my opinion, though PS design especially old charts don't show the right colour justice in their photo, don't you think?
When my friend stitched another old design, the colour was totally different and we all were surprised!!

But this sampler and also my friend's sampler both were beautiful than the chart photo, so it's no problem, though!! :D

If I had so much enough time, I would like to stitch "Wedding Sampler III" for her, and also another "Birth Sampler III" for another dear friend even though her daughter is already 2 years old!!

I really hope she likes this sampler and will be happy to see my work IRL!
Hope Baby girl Uta loves this when she grew up!

Snowing!!

From last night, it's snowing around here.
It's stopping now, but when we woke up, it was snowing and took some photos!
Even this sort of powder snow is rare for us to see in this area, so Sweetie was so excited!

Even in the house, it's so cold this weekend!!!
We are wearing many sweaters on!

He was excited, but just after this photo was taken, he said "It's terribly cold, let's go home!!!"
Actually he was wanting to make a snowman, though he couldn't do that as snow is too little, and also he was very cold!!!

My New Year WIPs and Gifts from Friends!

Hi, today finally I can share some cross stitch works (WIPs) with you!
I didn't iron, so they all are wrinkled, though...

Here is "Merry, Merry" © Birds Of A Feather.
I was going to present for my son Tass, though I couldn't finish this until the last Christmas.
There is gold thread that chart calls for, so I quite hesitate to stitch their parts...
So I bought gold thread for sewing machine, don't know how it'll be, but will see! Here is a piece of "Birth Sampler III" © Prairie Schooler.
About 2 or 3 years ago, there were so many pregnant friends around me, it was about more than 10 people.
And recently there are many pregnant friends around me again, it's 2nd boom!
One of my best friend had have a baby girl the end of the last year, so I'm stitching a birth sampler for her!!
This is quite beautiful pattern, so I'm so looking forward to seeing the finished piece!! :D

And here is a new WIP, "Snowflake Serenade" © Country Cottage Needleworks.
I'm stitching this on 40ct Newcastle (Natural) that my friend gave me, as I wanted to put this piece in the white frame in the photo above, so choose 40ct.
But it's quite tough to stitch on 40ct as I haven't been stitching on 40ct for a long time now...
I hope I will be able to finish this in the winter season! :D

And here are also birth samplers "Bless the baby" © Lizzie*Kate.
I have been stitching them from the last year (actually I was forgetting them...) for my friend's baby boy, and another three are for my brother's children.
I should have finished this earlier and was going to present for them for Christmas, though I had terrible stiff neck the last Dec., so couldn't manage it.
Hope I can finish and present them soon!

I have received some gift and also Christmas cards from friends abroad!
So I share them with you!

Here is a gift from Caro in France.
She sent the parcel to my last address, though the post office forwarded to my present address on 24th of Dec., how nice!!
Thank you Caro for a lovely gift!!

And here is a gift from Carol R. in the UK.
She made a very lovely and beautiful scissors fob for me, and also she sent toy cars for my son! Thank you always so much, Carol R. for your kind heart!

And here is a gift from Nina in Hungary!
She sent me her original over dyed threads and lovely charms!!
Aren't they so beautiful?!

I don't remember that I have mentioned or not, but now the world heritage "Himeji Castle" is restoring old parts.

So here is the Himeji Castle now. Since tourists can't see the castle from outside, there is a big tent which was drew 3D silhouette by graphic art.
Why we went to Himeji Castle yesterday is, the Castle Marathon was held there, and my brother's children run!
So we went to cheer for them and take photos!!
Sweetie Tass made a flag to cheer for them! Tass is going to run Castle Marathon next year with me (under 7 years should run with an adult), so I have to train for it... whew...

Little Artist and a Miracle Shot!

Hello, sorry that I haven't been posting about cross stitch at all, this year.
Actually I haven't been stitching lately as New Year's holiday is a big event in Japan and Sweetie is also on holiday, so we are playing together a lot.
And also there were many of visitors here my home, so had no time to stitch at the moment.

Today I'm going to share some pictures that my Sweetie Tass (5 years old) drew, recently!

Recently he loves drawing so much, and always asks me to draw together.
I love his drawing, don't know why but his drawing especially faces that he draws are so cute!!
And he is getting much better and better than before recently!
The right object in the above picture is bicycle, and also he drew a signal, car (as always!), balloon, and airplane and beautiful sky!
Isn't it good?!

And here is a car (always he draws Car!!) and rainbow and signal and sky!

And here is a picture of his cousin and car (again, lol).

This is like Anime, isn't this? I like the colours he choose!

And the last, here is a miracle photo that he shoot!
We din't know how to take, but he told me that he dropped camera just when he pressed the shoot button!

I am going to prepare to stitch from tonight, as from tomorrow Sweetie goes to kindergarten!
Last year I couldn't stitch at all, so I would like to stitch more like a few years ago, and would like to share photos of my WIP and finished piece with you!

2010 Mama's Stitching Group Meeting!

Hello, I have forgotten to post our "Mama's stitchin' group"s photos last year!
Since I've mentioned last June, we've started and have been working this "stitchin' group", it's been 7 months now! Wow!
It's so fun to stitch along, chat and have sweets together.
We decided to gather at least twice a month to stitch and chat together!

This time was three friends altogether who could gather, though usually we have 5 members altogether, stitching with tea!

And then, this time (photo below) was "stitch'n group's omelet party" that I held at my house!
The reason why I held this party is, my friends had doubts about my household that they think that I haven't been doing household at all, (LOL), so I held this party to clear my suspicion! haha!

Here is a photo of mushroom omelet (cream sauce) that I'm good at cooking!
But actually at the first try, I burned mushrooms as I was asked about something cross stitch, and totally had forgotten that I was cooking, and so re-tried to cook it (lol)
Everyone was laughing, especially my mum!!!
But, it was taste good and they seemed very happy!! :D

This green-tea cake was made by my friend for dessert!

And here is my friend's work (© Homespun Elegance)!
She likes "Cosmo Congress (like Aida, but very soft)", and always uses it.
One of member is using Linen now, but other members are using "Cosmo Congress" as they say it's the most easy to manage!"

I will take photos of my friends' (members) works, and will share them one day in the near future!
I should finish something and have to update my blog with stitch topics!! :D

Japanese New Year!!

Happy new year, everyone!
I wish you a very wonderful new year 2011!

Here is a photo of "Kadomatsu" at a shrine near by which was taken in the morning of 1, Jan, 2011, when we went to "Hatsumoude (Hatsumode)" .

Photos below are "Mochibana Kazari".
The real "Mochibana" is made with "mochi", though we use two thin crisp wafers made from mochi.

I made "Mochibana" with Sweetie this year, we used colorful two thin crisp wafers made from mochi and sandwich willow twig between them, like this below.

Sweetie seemed so fun to make them!
I would like to tell Japanese tradition a little by little to him.

For Santa and his Reindeer! [Edited]

As every year, Tass and I prepared some foods for Santa and his Reindeer on a Christmas Eve!
I remember that I knew this Western tradition about 3 years ago on some stitcher friends' blog. Tthere is no such romantic tradition in Japan, so I remember I was very touched by this story!

Since then, this is our tradition in our home, Tass looked forward to prepare food for them this year, too!
(Canework fairy doll had made by my mum for many many years ago...)

Same as the last year, we prepared some biscuits and milk for Santa, and carrot for his Reindeer!
Tass seemed so fun to prepare for them if they really come or not!
After he went to bed, I ate biscuits with mum and drunk milk and a bit of carrot!
That was quite funny that we were eating them at midnight at entrance!!
If Tass red this article someday when he grew up, he would be shocked!! :(

A photo above is next morning (a boxing day)!
Whew,,, Carrot was not taste good before go to bed, lol

Here is little Tass Santa, he was very looking forward to have champagne (for kids).
This photo was just after he had some, looks happy, huh?

Sweetie's Christmas Show and a Bird!

Hi everyone, this time I just share some photos of Tass my son's Christmas Show on 17th of Dec.!
Now he is 5 years old and he played cymbals in concert of his class (4~5 years old).

They played musical instruments so well, and they danced and sung!
It's amazing when I think how they remember everything so quickly, I think they just had lessons for a month, though!

BTW, about a week ago, mum called us to the garden (very small one), then when we went out there were a little bird on the rock near by!
So I just went back into house and took some photos of him!
He was SO cute, we have never met him before!!

After that he stayed a little bit, but when Sweetie came back with his shoes with very loud footsteps (as he was excited), a birdie flied away and never came back to us... Sweetie was very sad and he planned to make birdie's bed. He was so well making a little birdie's house, but he never came back... sigh I hope he comes back to amuse us again!

[Edited] A few days ago, "Annonymous" who loves birds left kind comment here to let me know the name of this bird!

Christmas Cactus Diary

Hi, did you all have a merry Christmas? I do hope so!
Here is Christmas Cactus Diary, just a quick note!

After I posted the last one (30th of Nov's), it has been blooming so beautifully!
Now it's in full bloom now!

Now it's full blooming!!
I love this soft colour so much and their shape!!
They are not lovely at all while they hadn't flowers, it's just a grotesque plant, but it's amazingly beautiful when they are blooming!

The other Christmas cactus isn't blooming at all, I don't know why, but this pot has been blooming beautifully every year!
I hope this will keep have flowers for more years!!

"Dog Lessons For People #143" - L*K Finished! [Edited]

Hi, thank you so much for your comments and thanks for visiting my blog, though I haven't been updating often.

Finally "Dog Lessons For People #143" © Lizzie*Kate has finished!!
I don't know why this took me so long time to finish...
When I first saw this pattern online, I thought to stitch for Tass as he loves dog! (me, too!)

The thread colours are very cheerful and so made me happy to stitch along, though why??
It took very long time to finish, lol
Most of my friends (in Mama's stitching group) love this pattern, and also my mum loves this colour combination so much!

Today was the 1st Stitch group's gathering day of Dec., so as I finished this, I passed this pattern to one of my friend.
She was motivated completely by this pattern!

Actually the frame was my son Tass's choice!
Just we went out for shopping, I was with this finished piece, and found some frames which is just the right size.
So I let him choose the frame colour, and he chose this one!
I also was going to choose this colour, so whew...

This time, I didn't insert glass, I added quilt batting between stitched piece and the cut board, so it's a bit puffy and it's so lovely now in the right frame and my son Tass seems very happy with this.
I want to hang this on his room!

Here is "Christmas cactus Diary".
My mum's Christmas cactuses are in full bud now!
So I'm going to take photos and report them how it grows from now!
I remember that my dear friend Carol R. and Angela was posting their Christmas cactus on the blog, so me too!

This photo was taken on 30th of Nov.
There is one more pot of Christmas Cactus, I hope they bloom beautifully soon!!

"Pumpkin Patch" Finish! [Edited]

Hi everyone, how have you been doing?
I have been doing fine recently, as well as my son Tass.
Thank you so much for your kind heart as always, you ask my son and my health in the mails, comments, e-cards, etc...
I really appreciate for your kindness, I'm so touched that so many people in the other countries is concerning about us, how special and how wonderful thing.

As for my stitching (WIP), I decided not to mess around anymore, stitch a few pieces at once, not a lot (lol), as my mum and my friend suggested me not to mess around anymore (lol, Exactly!!), I know that's why I always mess up and can't tidy up on the table!!

So here it is, as I decided to finish my WIPs a little by little, even though it was on a Halloween day, I re-started this "Pumpkin Patch" by PS!
I told my friend about it, then she said "Hello??? It's Halloween, today!!
I think you can hold it until next year, LOL"
And finally finished this yesterday! whew!

It was very lovely design and fun to stitch along as I love autumn designs and colour very much!
Actually I miss count the border, so there is gap between letters and house etc...

I thought to add little spiders or something like that in the gap, but decided to leave it.
Did you notice that??? I shouldn't have mentioned it? (lol)
This year I completed two autumn designs, so I'm very happy about that.
I couldn't frame them this year, but next year I will find nice frames for them and want to display on the wall! :D

I think this linen was "Wichelt Labmswool", I'm not sure, but I don't have many kinds of linen with me, so probably I used the one I wrote below!

Happy Dance! - "Pumpkin Hollow" Fin!

Hi everyone, how have you been doing?
It's been almost one month since I posted the last time.

As I told you that I can't buy new cross stitch stuffs anymore (lol), though my friend (no blog) presented me some new charts as I wrote about it!
I was so happy to received them!! Thank you, "N"!! :)

When I saw this lovely design, I couldn't resist to start to stitch!
And rarely happen, it was quite fast to finish for me!

Isn't this design so lovely?!
When I saw the chart photo, I thought more darker colours that chart calls for, but when I gathered all threads they were quite colourful, and so if it wasn't lovely, I was going to undo with different colour.

But when I finished and saw the whole design, I thought it's so lovely and perfect!!
It was so fun to stitch a long this design, so it doesn't matter if someone asked me to stitch this design again, I would do that! :)

Here are some french knots parts, it's been so long since I have done french knots last time, so it was quite difficult for me this time...
Oh, I shouldn't forget to tell that I changed this pumpkin's flower colour and also the pumpkin that there is left of the sign board ("Pumpkin Hollow") since the colour didn't show up well on this linen colour.

Finally the day I can share my works (WIPs) with you came today!
Now I feel good that I can update my stitching works on my blog!
There are so many WIPs, though at the moment I'm stitching them below.

At first, I'm stitching "Dog Lessons For People #143" by Lizzie*Kate.
Actually I was stitching "The Tea Room" by CCN but couldn't concentrate on at all, so decided to change the chart that I stitch to this!
The thread colours call for this chart are very colourful and lovely, so it makes me feel cheerful!
My son Tass loves dog, so I want to hung this on his room when it completed! :)

Next project is "Simple Joys" by LHN.
Actually it's stopping stitching at the moment, so the photo is the same as before I took.

Here is "The Tea Room" by CCN.
I started this with my mama friends, but couldn't concentrate on stitching this at all, so changed the design to "Dog Lessons For People #143" by Lizzie*Kate.

My all mama friends who I'm stitching with (5 people includes me) have chosen LHN or CCN designs as I thought!!
One of my friend is very fast stitcher (on Aida at the moment... but will switch and try Linen soon!), so she has stitched many of designs already!
I will share some photos of her works one day later!

And here is now I'm stitching "Pumpkin Patch" by Prairie Schooler.
I want to buy new chart for Halloween by PS, though if I bought my mum would be mad (lol), so I'm stitching the last year version.
Also my mama friend that I talked about is stitching this, too!

I hope I can show you more works forwarded later when I update next time.

Today is my Birthday, I became thirty-something!
But, unfortunately I wasn't feeling well today, and so I couldn't celebrate my birthday.
Just received natural & organic cosmetics from mum!
Recently my mum nags me that there are too many cross stitch stuffs in this house, so she announced not to buy ANY new cross stitch stuffs from now on!!! sigh and sad...
　

I'm just happy to being with my family, this birthday reminded me about it as I wasn't feeling good.
I'm happy enough to hear that Sweetie always says "Mummy I love you!" and kisses me!

Past 6 months of our life...

Today, I'm going to share and show you many photos that I took in the past 6 months.
I wasn't feeling well at all, though my mum asked me to go out so often if I could change my feeling... So even though I was very tired I went out with Sweetie when I could.

Here is some photos when we went to see tulip fields near by the facility where I have worked before I've married.
There is very huge ground and so we lied down on the field, it was very nice feeling in the nature.
But after that, we found so many deer's dungs(?) on the field, and we screamed!! (lol)

Here are some photos when we went to a shores of a river with my brother's family!
It was the first time for Sweetie to play in the river, so he was very excited with his cousins!!
They found a frog and I tried to touch it! geeeeee, but ces't la vie, it's mum's lesson to touch them!

Here are some photos when the summer festival was held at Kindergarten.
Sweetie wore Jinbei and played a lot!
Last year, my mum sewed Jinbei for him, though he hated to wear them...
So she (my mum) seemed a bit sad (lol), and threw away this year as Sweetie can't fit in anymore...

By the way, I changed hair style, before I was going to let my hair grow, though it's too hot this summer and so I cut my hair about 20cm and now it's bobbed.
I also changed glasses, so it looks quite different from before!

Here are some photos when we went to the sea recently.
We just went to see the sea, but Sweetie + I went into the sea!
It was like hot spring, it was amazed, how hot summer this year is!!!
We decided to visit here again to swim, so I bought swimming wear!
It's hardly believe that I wear swimming wear, probably more than 10 years since the last time I bought swimming wear in Australia...

After we went to the sea, we went to the hotel near by to have some tea and cake.
Background is the sky that I took on that day, and other two photos are from the cafe.
Aren't they beautiful?!

He looks like a big boy already, his teeth already came out!!
It's quite early, isn't it? He just became 5 years old, though...

In Japan, when we were child, when my bottom tooth came out, we throw the tooth on the roof, and then when the upper tooth came out, we buried the tooth in the ground.
But recently there are milk teeth box, so I bought lovely one and put them in it as keepsake.

Sorry that I shared just daily topics, not stitching photos nor story at all, though thank you so much for your visit and reading!

Spring Exchange FROM Marie-P

I have mentioned that Marie-P. and I were going to Spring (Easter) Exchange, but I was really ill in the last Spring and so even though I was stitching a little by little from earlier, I couldn't make and complete anything for her...
Moreover, I'm sorry that I hadn't been showing you her beautiful work on my blog for ages.
I apologize for you, Marie.
I will planning something surprise for you one day!

By the way, here is her wonderful Spring pinkeep!
How lovely this is, I love this Prairie Schooler design so much and wanted to stitch one day as like she did!
So I was so surprised and very happy to receive this so much, you know at that time I was so ill so I was truly happy to have this and so I take this pinkeep to my bed room when I sleep and put it on beside my pillow some days :)

She trimmed edges with flowery lace (sorry I forgot the name...) and put while pearl pins.
And on top, she added very springlike colour organza ribbon.
How sweet colour combination this is!
I really love this, Thank you so much, Marie!

On the back side, she used Easter egg's print fabric, it's so rare for us Japanese, because Easter is not major yet in Japan.
So we Japanese stitch friends searched and told me the meaning of Easter and why bunnies relates for Easter? etc...
But I already forgot it... (lol)

Anyway, her stitching and finishing is just perfect!!!
I really admire for her works, if you had chance to see her works IRL, you would be amazed!

It's been so long!

Hi everyone, it's been so long since that I wrote the last issue...
Almost 3 months???

I was not feeling well in the first 2 months of during this 3 months, though last 1 month I have been doing quite well, so I'm stitching and going out with Sweetie (not Sweetie lately, he became a big boy!).

Even though in the first 2 months while I was not feeling so well, when I found a fine day (weather and my health), I went out with my brother's family, etc... for Sweetie Tass, as he couldn't go out a lot this summer for me...

So, I will organize photos that I took in this summer and will also take photos of my stitch, exchange from Marie-P (sorry Marie!!) etc, from now and will update my blog in a few days!

I'm sorry for everyone who worried about my health.
Recently I'm doing better than before!

Hi, I'm Back with this!

Hi, I'm back here! It was a very hot day today, like in August... but I'm still surviving!
I have been stitching this LHN's "Simple Joys" when I was feeling fine.
It has not done yet, though I wanted to post this today, as today is the special day for me.

Recently I have been messing up (always? lol) threads, so it was quite hard to find the right threads the chart calls for (actually I couldn't find them out), so I looked for similar colours of threads for this design, so most of the threads are different from the chart calls for...

Actually I have plenty of time to stitch when I'm feeling fine, but now I'm addicted in gaming online (silly me!), but I will finish this in this week or in the near future!

Tomorrow my friends will come to my house to stitch together!!
How fun would that be!

I'm going to look for charts we will stitch, we will decide which one we will stitch, maybe we choose as we like...
I will report about it later!

What's going on my life!

Thank you so much for your visit although I haven't been updating at all, and thank you so so much for your warm comments, e-mails, e-cards, etc...
Sorry that I made some friends worry very much, I apologize for my late reply, At the same time I really appreciate for your warm hearts, as always!

Today I feel fine at the moment (now it's in the morning), and so I decided to write what was happening in the last one month.

Since I wrote the last post, we all had cold. Mum and Tass got well soon, though I have been suffering from cough even now.
I don't want this blog to be "Sick Blog" though! (lol)
I was thinking "Why lots of blue things happen to me!!!", but mum told me "If Tass became like you, can you bear for it??" Of course "NO", so I changed my mind that these happen instead of Tass would have.

But there are so many to share and tell you!
On Tass's Birthday (5/14), he was on TV program with lots of children to sing "My Neighbour Totoro"s theme songs, because the singer of Totoro's theme (Azumi Inoue) was on TV to sing them, so we went to Osaka.

Osaka is just one hour from here by train, but for my present physical energy, it was quite tough, so we decided to stay over my relatives house in Takarazuka.
I enjoyed the time there, but from the second day, I got high fever, and although I had antivirals it didn't go down, so I went to emergency hospital...

After we came home, my mum had cold and then Tass too, again...
I have also been having cold while they were having cold, then suddenly my cough got very harder than harder like asthma, I couldn't breath well, since I have experienced asthma so I knew it doesn't asthma attack, but it was like that, then went to see a doctor to check up.
Finally my examined paper has arrived, then there were nothing wrong, no allergy, no other disease.
But I have still been coughing... Actually I lost my weight, so it was quite good exercise!
My friend said to me "If you kept coughing, you would be able to be thin!!" (lol)

By the way, Tass received a guitar for his birthday present from mum (me), and then he is now having private lessons to be like "Naotaro Moriyama" !!
But when the last lesson was held, he was sleepy and he was almost going to sleep with guitar (lol)
Actually I'm also having lesson to help him because he is still small, so I remember better than him and now I can play easy songs! :D

No photos, but just wanted to tell you how we were (are) doing.

Hi everyone, thank you so much for many of comments, e-mails to cheer me up!
I'm feeling better than before lately.

Today I have a NEWS about Scissors Sale...
Unfortunately but, I will stop selling them FOR A WHILE.

I was going to help to buy the same scissors with me as I've got many questions where you can buy them.
But I was surprised, I've received so many orders, more than 450 orders in 3 months...
So it became like a shop.

Most of them could understand my health and gave me warm words, but some people were very in hurry and I received e-mails almost everyday to send them to them, even I told them that I was not feeling well...
Maybe this became like shop or business, so I can understand they misunderstand and mad at me...

So until I feel completely well, I will stop selling scissors for a while.
Please understand about this.

I will organize papers and send invoice of PayPal a little by little for whom on the waiting list.
Please understand this all of mess.

Hi everyone, so sorry that I made you worry about Tass and my health...
Thank you so much for concerning about it, I received many of e-mails, but sorry that I couldn't even reply you back.
I really appreciate for your warm hearts.

Tass got well after I posted last one, but after that I haven't been well somehow...
At first it was cold, but even though after I recovered from cold, I haven't been well at all.
I couldn't move at all because I was too sleepy felt really sluggish and also felt very dizzy whole day and everyday since then.

I was very disappointed and was irritated by myself that I can't do anything.
I have been quite making customers trouble about scissors, I'm so sorry about that.

But since yesterday, I tried to reduce to have my medicines, my condition has changed a bit.
I can move better than before, I didn't need to sleep whole day, so I realized that was excess of take in medicines that I have been taking for ages.

So I will discuss about this issue with my doctor on this coming Sunday, probably this means my ill is getting better than before! (I do hope so!)
But why am I always talking about our health all the time? This is a stitching blog, though!!!

I truly sorry for the customers for scissors to keep you waiting for a long time.
I will try to do my best.

And sorry Marie-P that I couldn't make you anything for our Easter exchange.
I will share your beautiful work on the next post!

He is safe, but I am...

Hi everyone, thank you for concerning about Tass.
I received so many messages, e-mails etc... I really appreciate for your kindess.

Finally he got well from yesterday, at that night that the day I posted the last one, we went to emergency hospital as his fever wasn't ordinary, and a doctor said the treatment that Tass has been having doesn't right for this sick, but Japanese emergency hospital is just for the first aid, so the doctor couldn't do anything, just gave me antifebriles.

But his fever didn't go down a day after either, so I called emergency hospital to tell me the doctor's name who gave me good advices at that night, but they didn't tell me who it was as they say it's the rule.
That's nonsence, so I tried so many times to ask who it was, but they never told me about it, so finally I got angry with her who was on the phone, and told her "You shouldn't decide oneself, you should talk about this issue with everyone where there are, you can hold a meeting or whatever from now, I will wait, so give me a dicision later, because if his fever doesn't go down, he might die!!!"
And finally I could hear who it was, actually phone call was from a doctor himself!
As always Japanese isn't depending on the circumstances at all... always says rules, manuals, etc...

The doctor was the pediatrician who has own hospital near by.
So we went there soon, and he totally different examine and gave us totally different medicines.
Then, Tass's fever went down soon!!!
His hard cough and running nose also disapeared!!
He also suggested to go to otolaryngology to check his ears and nose, then we went there, Sinusitis was found in his nose...

If his fever didn't go down, he had to be hospitalized again...
Thank doctor, and thank god, and thank everyone who prayd for him!

But!! Instead of him recover, I've got his virus...
Soon I went to hospital and had medicines, so I hope my sick won't be more bad...
I have headache, one block nose, one running nose (lol), cough, fever, diarrhea, etc... everything he had!!
Have to go to bed, but I just wanted to let you know how he is now, as they all were worried about him.

I hope I will be able to be good health in a few days, as I have to work for scissors.
In Japan tomorrow (22nd) is public holiday, so post office is closed, so if I'm OK, I will send them on Tuesday.

Today he said, he has ear-ache, so we went to emergency hospital again, and the result was an inflmmation of the middle ear, and he had treat... he cried, but now he is fine!

Actually I have been suffering ears problem "Patulous Eustachian Tube" for 5 years, and the other day when Tass went to an otolaryngology I had treat of it, but it was TOO much pain!!!
I couldn't move for a while as squatted down on the chair...
I'm sure even adlut male might cry!!!

It's been 4 days now, so I think we will go to Emergency Hospital tonight if his fever keep going although he has got antifebrile.
If he is safe tonight, we will go to hospital tomorrow, too.
He had many checks but nothing wrong has found at the moment...
So I'm so worried about him.

"Quaker Garden" Finished & BBD New WIP

Hi everyone! Thank you for stopping by.
Finally I finished BBD "Quaker Garden" (Loose Feathers #19).
Yahoo! It was very fun to stitch along, I don't know why I left this for ages...

I added "2010" and my initials, what I like in this pattern is two of white birds on both sides!
Aren't they beautiful?
I love grayish blue outline so much!

I already have found the frame online, so would like to buy it soon!
I hope it will be beautiful in the frame!

How about this marbled (original, lol) linen?
I think it turned out beautiful as seeing the finished piece!

And here is my new WIP! I fell in love with BBD more and more, so I started LF#38 "Summer Basket" that Sally at Salty Yarns traded with my scissors!
She kindly kitted up this beautiful pattern! Thank you Sally!

The thread colours are very softer than the original photo, so it's like spring has already come!!
To stitch this make me feel so comfortable and relax.

Here is a photo that the stitched piece on the black lap top.
I think you can see a little bit clearer than on the carpet.
I hope I can go forward speedy and would like to order frame for this, too!

After I updated this post, I will continue to stitch this!! :D

Today finally Sweetie could go to Kindergarten since his absence.
And today "Curry Party" was held there, so I went there, too!
He is very picky and he doesn't eat veggies and fruits at all at home, though he eats veggies at Kindergarten, huh? that means my meal taste not good? lol
I hope he eats them when he grew up!

By the way, as for the scissors, some items are out of stock, and I want to stitch very much now, and also have private exchange in this month, so please let me have my own time to concentrate on stitching, please!

I was going to send them out yesterday, but my son became ill (he has got virus in his tummy, maybe "Noro" or "Rota"- I don't know the spell, though.) and threw up so many times, and now he is in the bed...
Actually I caught everything that he threw up, so the doctor said that 99% I will be sick as well... (Oh No!!)

It's weekend so I can't send the scissors out from post office as they are closed, if I'm OK on Monday, I will send them out!

Hi everyone, how have you been doing?
I kept silence as I was very busy for organizing and packing scissors!!
So not much stitching time, but I'm doing this (scissors sale) with joy!
Today I sent more than 65 parcels to overseas from the post office!
Post officer was quite surprised as he knows me well!

By the way, I'm doing "Trade" with some customers who don't have PayPal account, then I received lots of wonderful things!

First of all, today I received this beautiful mini pillow from Anja in Germany.
We didn't do "Trade", but I just helped her to buy Japanese stitch book, then she presented me this beautiful and lovely pillow in return which has lavender inside and design is from "Acufactum" which I really love!!

Today, after kindergarten, we went out for shopping, and found this lamb (kid?).
Actually I had the same one, but my auntie loved it so much, so I gave it to her while sweetie was out.
Then today when I found this I told him the story, then he suddenly started to cry a lot, although I told him that I buy the same new one for him.
He said he wants THAT one, not THIS one... (lol)
So we bought a new lamb, and went to auntie's house to exchange old lamb and new lamb... hahaha
Kids are very funny!

Tomorrow sweetie will come home earlier than usual as new kids will come to trial (Japanese schools start from April).

Scissors Trade And My Collection, WIP

Hi, how are you?
Thank you for your visit and comments, I appreciate for you all to spend time for my blog.

Today I share my scissors collection (not so many, though) and new scissors from Spain!
Photo above is my collection at the moment, I left some pair of scissors at my home, so I think I have more... like heart handles from Kelmscot Designs, etc...

These two pair of beautiful scissors came from Spain!
Pilar in Spain and I trade scissors! She told me these are famous Spanish scissors from CLAELES!
Aren't they stunning?

When she showed me these scissors' photos, I soon said "OK, let's trade!" (lol)
I know I have only 2 arms, but I like scissors, just like many other of stitchers! :)

Pilar kindly sent me some beautiful fabrics (in the 2nd photo), lace, ribbon, threads, and gel sticker for Tass!
How kind lady she is! Thank you so much Pilar always for your warm heart!!!
I really appreciate for you!!

As for my WIP, "Quaker Garden" by BBD is going ahead slowly.

But!! I have found stupid mistake, the both side of triangle which is shown a white bird in it should be symmetry, but... can you see the difference??

In the big triangle there should be only six wee triangles on the one side of a trianble, but on the left side, I have stitched ten triangles!! How silly!

I was going to go forward as ignoring the mistake, but now as seeing the photo it's quite different, so now I decided to undo... whew

When I have started, I noticed it on my post, though the linen is shown marbled, right?
But it's not original...

I accidentally have spilt water on the linen!
That was just a small area, though it was also in the stitch area, so I spilt more water on purpose, then made marbles to be like vintage look.

I don't know how will this look at the end, I hope it will go well and beautiful!

Zoo, Amusement Park AND Himeji Castle

Today Tass and I went to zoo and wee amusement park where is placed in the site of Himeji Castle by bus, as my mum went to the party of Hula dance that she is having class, so we were boring with no car.

Tass was very excited to go to the zoo from when he woke up, but I was a bit tired in the morning actually, so just after lunch, we left home.
He said he wants to wear my hunting hat today to go to zoo, it's rarely happen that he says he wants to wear hats!
It was a bit funny because it was too big for him, though I respect his idea, maybe because he is awakened to fashion???

After we arrived to Himeji Castle, we took some photos and then entered in the zoo.
Zoo and wee amusement park are in the site of Himeji Castle, although it's very tiny, it's good enough to spend one day off!

We can't afford to have pets after my dog died, also we often go out, so I wanted him to come in contact with animals very much, so we often go to pet shop.
Today he could touch and cuddle small pets in person, like guinea pigs, rabbits, and sheep!
He seemed having so much fun!! :)

In so many of animals he liked European flamingos and deers!
But he doesn't care about any other animails, like elephant, a giraffe, etc... I thought kids would love them and would be excited, though...
I also like flamingos, they have very beautiful pink webbed feat... It was so beautiful colour!

And deers came to us when I whistled, and licked sweetie's hand!
He was so excited and it made me smile! :)

We also touched sheep, sweetie seemed a bit scared, but walked gingerly to him and touched and run back to me! So sheep followed him and he was so surprised!! lol

After Tass found amusement park, he paid no attention to animals at all (lol) as I thought, he played much!
I also played with him a lot, and took so many photos of him!
So I'm a bit tired now... but it was a very nice day!! :)

By the way, before we went out I received an envelope from Pilar in Spain!
I will post the story of this later!

And after we came home, I received scissors!!

So I will work for packing scissors tomorrow!

Visitation AND Mail Day continue...

I love read comments, I love comments! :D

Today was a visitation day, so I went to Kindergarten to see how they are spending everyday!
So it was fun to see them in person!
Today the "Karuta Party" was held at the Kindergarten, and kids were very good!
Sweetie didn't concentrate on Karuta at all, and he just could get 2 pieces...
Then, he cried because he couldn't get many, lol

He brought back this drawing from Kindergarten today, he is getting good at drawing just a little by little. He said he drew his teachers and school bus driver! :)

We back home together as always and what was waiting for us is this (photo above)!
Mum and auntie made Apple pies together while we were out!

That was hot from the oven, and then we had them with nice coffee and tea. Yum yum!
They made 4 pieces, so we can have this tomorrow again! :)

By the way, I received a few yellow envelopes from overseas today, too!
One was from Melissa in Canada, we exchanged with scissors and the chart (The Stitching Parlor's "Birds of Killingworth") that I wanted for so long!
Aggahhhh, my 2010's resolution maight be changed by this chart...
I should be patient for a while!!

And also in the mail box there was a puffy envelope from the US, it was the spoils of e-bay.
I won last year's Lizzie*Kate's Double Flip series for Christmas w/linen that I really wanted.
I could buy at about half price than I buy at Japanese shop!

And I won BOAF's OOP "Fair Face"!
It was very lucky, not so expensive than I was thinking!
I heard that Melissa likes BOAF and she has this chart, too so we may stitch together someday in the near future?
I will ask her later! :D

As for my Scissors Blog, thank you so much for your orders!

Surprise gift from Italy AND My WIP

Hi, today was a super mail day!
I was busy going for shopping to the craft shop to frame and make mats for Birth Samplers, etc...
And after shopping I went to Kindergarten to pick up Tass, and when went back home, there was a puffy envelope from Italy in the mail box!
It was from my dear friend Chiara (no blog)!
She told me that she sent me something earlier, but it was quite fast so I was surprised!

I jumped and run into the home with Tass and opened the envelope.
Look, there was this stunning small zipper bag for me and inside it there was Gloriana silk!
How beautiful this bag is! The flower print stands out like real flower!

And this is the back side, it's also so beautiful, isn't it?
I love both sides very much, and you know this is her work!!
She is a mosaic artist and also she works for making bags!!
I admire of her works so much, and she is a very charming lady and I love her!

Inside of the bag, there is her webshop's tag.
She has her own web shop "BISYBEE" and you can find many of her wonderful works there!
I added this banner (below) on the left side bar on my blog, so you can visit her webshop whenever you want!

And I also received my super stash from USA (e-bay), and Tass received some books his dad, it was a car encyclopaedia... lol, I should be asked SO many times from him "Lookie, mummy, look, look, what is this car???
I know what would happen... it will never stop, whew...

By the way, I finished stitching BOAF's cat, so I was looking for something to stitch next.
And I found this "Quaker Garden" in my WIP file, and suddenly I felt like stitching this very much somehow!

The last post of this stitch was "June 26, 2007" (above), almost 2.5 years ago? wow...
It's not WIP, it was UFO, lol...

I don't know why I left this for so long, it's so much fun to stitch now!
I'm going to keep stitching this and want to finish this!!
I already asked how much would it cost me if I framed this with sample.
Uhmmm.... I think about it, but I want to let this in the nice frame!

It would be very beautiful!!!
I will also ask online frame shop about the cost.
(Sorry for the wrinkled fabric...)

I realized that I fogot to stitch some parts (see below photo...)!!

I was thinking I finished it and was happy, though!
But I'm happy and lucky that I could realize before framing, as I always tie with thread at the back when I frame!
Next time I hope will be able to show you the framed piece!

It was very fun to stitch along, I love this cat so much!!
Pretty, isn't he? Actually I don't like cat much, though I love this cat, and also BOAF's monthly cat series, as well.
It's very shame that they are out of print...
I didn't have any recommended threads, so I choose them as seeing the chart's photo.

I have already decided which frame I use for, Tass my sweetie wants this cat, so I hope the framing will be pretty as well as this cat!!

First Birth Sampler Has Framed.

Hi, finally I framed one of Birth (Baby) Sampler for friend's baby!
It's baby boy, so I bought blueish frame (for quilt, no glass) and very light baby blue mat, then framed!

This is a surprise gift, so I can't show the name of him and birth date, though I stitched them one over one, and they are very beautiful IRL.
I also added gold star charm on it!
I was thinking to add little bear charm, though the linen colour (raw) is darker than I thought, so I choose this star instead of it.
I thought about this frame a bit darker than I though for the Birth (baby) Sampler, but when the baby blue mat was putted in at the craft shop, it became lovely!

It's a bit shame that the thread colour of "Bless" didn't stand out well even after framed...
I should have changed the colour, now I think...

I hope my friend will be happy to receive this!
I should make 5 more same samplers, though!! whew!
I don't like one over one, so there are blank area on all the samplers where I should stitch their name and birth date... lol

My SIL asked me to change some threads colour, so I so undo some area...
I hope everyone would be glad to receive these gifts! :D

Scissors sent out AND Corrections

As for the scissors, I sent them out.
I have already sent e-mails to the customers, the post officer told me that the scissors could be understood as arms, so your countries' custom may open the parcel that I sent...

I think it will take about 1~2 weeks to arrive to you!

By the way, I looked for very hard to find these "E type" scissors, and found some.
But I realised there are 2 sizes.
So I corrected my scissors blog, sorry about this.

By the way, now I'm busy working on scissors order, but I couldn't sleep AT ALL last night somehow, so I stitched a bit!
Baby Samplers are nearly ready, too!
I'm excited about seeing them in the frame. I will show them when they finished!

Sweetie Tass watched the TV program about Kite, and he became want to try to do it.
So we bought Kite (not Japanese old fashion type, it's "Pokemon" ), then we went to the shrine where is placed near our house, and I tried very hard, though my mum was dead laughed seeing me doing this!! She said I was very bad on this and was too funny!! LOL

As for Tass, he said he wants to do this, though he didn't see us doing this AT ALL, he was looking at cars all the time, LOL!!! How car crazy he is!
Anyway, we had fun!

By the way, in the last month, I received an e-mail from a man of publisher of Devon Beekeeper's Association in the UK, and he said he wants to use my flowers' (Christmas Roses) photos for the Association's January issue.
I was confused about this, why Christmas Roses and Bee?? etc...

But Carol R. helped me to understand why he wants to use photos of them.

So I lend him my photos with some promises.
Then the other day the issue has arrived safely to me!
There were my photos in the magazine! There was my name written below, I'm so honored that they used my photos! :D

Poor sweetie Tass, he suddenly cried on Saturday and this morning, and he said he has elbow-ache so much, so we visit an orthopedist.
On Saturday, his joint of right elbow has come off...
And this morning, the joint of left elbow has come off...

It often happens on little kids, and will happen again and again a doctor said.

So we are worrying about it while he is in the Kindergarten, so I will write a letter to teachers.

[Edited] I remember someone told me in the mail that whose snail mail address is different from the address that PayPal showing, but I can't find the mail and don't remember who...Please let me know who it was!!!
