Merci (C) Danybrod AND Little Destroyer

Hi, thank you always for your visit and your comments!
I appreciate for them all.

As you saw before, I stitched and finished "merci" © Danybrod as pincushion.
When I saw this design, I thought of my friends who may love this design, and sent them for them.

以前の日記に載せた、merci をやっとピンクッションに仕上げました。

I heard that they received my pincushion safely and so update my blog today!
I'm happy to hear that they loved them!
I didn't have the colour that chart called for, so used two colours of DMC for flowers.

I used this fabric I love for the back of pincushion, but realised just before I wrapped that they were upside down actually...
I didn't check that the fabric has direction...

Anyways, Dany's designs are always so chic!

でも・・・ ラッピング途中に、生地に向きがあったことに気づき・・・(汗)

Here is a photo of a little destroyer...
He loves to create something, drawing, and everyday he makes and creates something new.
And recently he is interesed to see how machines are working and what their inside are...
So he look for something broken and ask me if he can destroy it and see how insides are.

I said OK for the first time, but he loved it and ask me for more broken things, lol.
Sometime, he re-build the machine, sometime he makes new thing (basically they are cars!) with their parts.
Whew, he is a real BOY! Now he wants to be an architect.
Hope he would build a wonderful house for us in the future!! :D

Thank you for your visit!
Take care and have a lovely week ahead.

Bye for now,

Design : "Merci" © Danybrod
Fabric : 32ct Belfast Linen (White)
Thread : DMC
Finished as : Pincushion

Love the little rose pillows Yuko - so beautiful!

Tass is very much like my son was at that age - he hasn't changed much - he's still taking apart cars and re-building them - he's working on a classic mini now!

Such a pretty finish and you picked the perfect backing fabric for it.

And I have to smile at your son taking things apart and putting them back together. My son used to do that when he was smile and he would build things with blocks looking for "structural integrity". Where he learned that phrase I'll never know. It's amazing what our kids will do.

They are beautiful Yuko. So beautifully finished.

My eldest daughter always loved taking things apart and putting them back together!
