"Peace" - PIF FOR Staci

I've got a lovely e-mail from Staci that she has received her PIF gift from Japan safely!
It was just in time, I was always remembering about to make her a PIF gift, but I was thinking what is good for her...

Then I remembered that Staci has red and white things in her bedroom, so I decided to make something redwork!
This design is from Renato Parolin, and I fell in love with this design, actually this design has three motifs, one is "Peace" and one is "Love", and the last one is "Joy".

Here is a photo of backing fabric which I choose for this ornament.
I want to make three of them for myself, too!

Here are some close up photos...

And...

Recently Sweetie has interests in taking photos, too, and when I was taking this Staci's ornament, he brought these toys to add to, as I always add some objects for the photo! lol
Sweetie, I think you don't need a hammer!!! hahaha

Oh I was almost forgetting to put this photo on!
Here is another "Peace"!

She is a 2 months old Labrador that my neighbour has decided to have recently!
Her name is "Peace", she is so lovely and they often let us cuddle her! :D
Oh I miss my dog... how cute these eyes! So innocent!

Take care and have a lovely weekend!
Happy Stitching!

Sweet PIF gift from Sally!

Thanks for stopping by my blog even though I haven't been posting anything about cross stitch recently... And I really appreciate for your warm and kind Get Well Wishes, so much.

Yesterday when I was going out, I found a puffy envelope in the mail box, and I guessed if it's from
Sally as she noticed me that she sent the PIF gift to me a while ago!
And Bingo! I saw her name on the envelope, I couldn't resist to open it even though I had to go out!! So just before I go, I opened it at the entrance and Oh... Sally did make my day indeed!!
Just look at this Sweet sweet present that she made for me... I was so touched!

This is my first SB work, I love SB's designs, but I haven't been having no chance to stitch them until now somehow... (I have some kits, though!)
She red my blog and found that I like sheep designs and also SB, so she told me that she thought this is the right design for my PIF gift!!

She added linen laces around the edge and also added white roses on four corners!
Isn't this just so sweet?!

And there is a word about friendship, the design is "Friendship Lamb" by Shephered's Bush.
It touched my heart... Thank you, Sally!
Her stitching and finishing is awesome, just perfect!!

And here is a photo of backing fabric she choose for this design, isn't it perfect match?
I like everything Sally!!
I forgot to take photos, though she also added a postcard of Swan Island and her message card was sheep design! :)

By the way, I have so many photos in my PC, actually in the memory stick (is it said USB memory?).
A few days ago, the alert has appeared on the screen to say it's full, so I bought new one.
This time I bought this lovely pink stick, it looks like lip stick, isn't it?!
So now I can keep my photos (most of them are sweetie's photos!) till they will be 4 GB in the stick.

By the way, thank you so much everyone for purchasing many of charts from my "Sale and Trade" blog!
I really appreciate for you all. I also should downsize so many my craft materials as my husband found them and nagged me when we had argument last night (lol), whew...
So when I settled down at my mum's home, I will open the "Sale and Trade" blog again, and next time I'm thinking to sell some materials, too.
Anyways, your ordered items are already sent yesterday!
Now they are on their way, so please wait for a while...

I'm stitching only few lines each day and little by little when I feel OK.
My this year's resolution is to make and send present for my friends' Birthday in time, so I want to stitch and finish it, if I could.
Resolution is just a resolution and
Carol R. told me that resolutions are made to be broken!
So I shouldn't be so serious, though! :)

Hope I feel better soon and be able to share some stitching post!
Take care and Happy Stitching!

PIF (Pay It Forward) FOR Elisa

I can't believe, it's the last day of the year tomorrow!!
In Japan we clean the whole house at the end of the year, but this year I didn't do anything...
I was just mentally and physically tired (is this just excuse?? lol), I haven't been able to stitch much nowadays.

By the way, I heard that the Elisa has received the PIF gift safely, so I can share some photos what I made for her.
I was quite not sure what her tastes are, but light blue flashed into my mind when I thought about Elisa, so I bought a bit antique blue basket and stitched an angel in blue.

And I trimmed the basket lid and the stitched piece with shinny light blue gathered lace.

The back of the lid is also covered the same fabric that I used for the front.

I red that Elisa liked this and some goodies that I sent her, so I now feel relieved!!
3 PIFs done and 3 more PIFs to go!
I should tidy up my stitching stuffs soon, and have to try to concentrate on making 3 more PIF gifts!!

I decided to visit my PIL on the new years day with my husband and son, but I asked my husband not to stay there long time... otherwise I will get sick, mentally!!
I should visit shrine near by to buy a talisman before I visit them!!

Please fingers crossed for me!
And have a Happy new year, everyone!!

Thanks for visiting, and let's talk soon in 2009!

PIF (Pay It Forward) FOR Margaret S.

I'm already back from our short trip to Karuizawa!
It was great, I had so must fun time after a long time!!
Now I have been unpacking and organizing photos of our trip to post here, so please wait for some reports and photos of our journey!

Today I've got an e-mail from
Margaret S. to let me know that she has received my PIF gift safely!

I made her this Biscornu, when I thought of her, elegant and soft pale blue came up in my mind, so I decided to use this linen and decided to make something elegant!

Actually my printer has got something wrong, so I couldn't print out this pattern properly, so I stitched this as looking at PC screen (lol)

It was the first time for me to add beads around the edge for Biscornu, but it was so fun and turned out so beautifully!

At the back of this Biscornu, I just made it simple, just stitched this for four corner... and added large button on the center.

I'm happy to hear that she liked it and some goodies that I put together in the package!
This time I didn't add any teas in the package as I heard that Australia and New Zealand customs are very strict! :)
To make PIF gift as thinking about recipients is such a fun!
So I will make different gifts for each PIF member.

I will post some Reports of our journey next time!
Until then, Happy Stitching!

Good Thing And Bad Thing...

Today I finally have finished to visit the dentist! Yahoo!

He did a great job for my bad tooth, thanks to him, my stiff neck and headache have almost gone!

And I finished all the packing off a short while ago, whew...

Just waiting for tomorrow to move!

These are good things of today, but on the other hand I had bad (sad) thing.
I've got sad news from mum to let me know my dog (Shiba-dog) died this afternoon...

Her name is Mickey (female, but Mickey, it's from Mickey Mouse that my brother liked when he was a child), she was so gentle and kind dog.
We were very good friends, and I often played with her a lot when I was at home.
She lived for 15 years, and I heard that she didn't eat anything for the last few weeks, so we have resigned ourselves to the situation.

I have many of her photos at my mum's home, but I only have these few photos with me now, so please let me share them with you.

I'm already missing her terribly, I wanted to see her last.
As seeing her photos now, I'm feeling so sad and want to hug her tight...

Thank you Mii Mii (this is what I called her) for giving me lovely memories.
I won't forget about you.

Thank you so much for signing up for my PIF.
I have been still taking sign up for my PIF member until this coming Sunday!
There are already more than 3 person who is signing up for it, so please feel free to leave comment on the last post, if you are interested in!

I've signed up for Dovile's PIF (Pay It Forward) member recently!
I'm so happy that I could be her PIF member!!

And so, this is my turn.

*** This is how it works ***

If you would like to receive something made by me within the next 365 days, please comment on this post to say that you are interested.

*The original rule is "the first three" person will receive something, but there is time difference between most of people and I, so I change this part a bit...

"If there was less than three person, I will choose them as my PIF member, but if, if there were more than three person, I would do drawing to choose three person later! "
(The deadline is 5th of October, Sunday! - Japanese time.)

In return, please post the same offer on your blog.
Simple and a lovely way of spreading joy in the stitching world.
I hope there will be someone who will sign up for my PIF member!

PIF FOR Jennifer!

When I checked e-mail this morning as daily routine, I found an e-mail from Jennifer.
She let me know that she received my PIF (Pay It Forward) gift safely, and in the mail she is so sweet and am so happy that she liked everything that I sent to her!

Here is what I made for her PIF.

I didn't know what her tastes like exactly, so I stitched what I wanted to, and made it into an ornament.
The design is "Little Angel In The Clouds" © Heart In Hand, stitched on 32ct linen, by recommended DMC.

It was quite hard to find the right shape for this design, and it became like this at the end.
I added pom-pom trim around the edge, and added light pink ribbon at the bottom of ornament.
I also added velvet pink flower on top which I forgot to take close up photo.

Here is backing fabric I chose for this design.
I was a bit worried if this design might be a bit childish for her? but she told me she loves this so much, I'm very relieved now! whew...
I have two more PIFs to go (Margaret S. and Staci), and I also signed up for Dovile's PIF recently, so I will invite three person to join for my PIF "Part 2." later again!
I hope some people would be interested in joining for it. :0

I'm going to move again the end of September for my husband's job.
And the present house is very sick!! Where I live is placed near mountain and by the lake, so is very humid, and moreover our present house is very old so mold all around the house, sigh*...
That is why I'm very busy at the moment, no stitching at all again... just packing, packing, packing! ;0
I packed my stitching stuffs already to concentrate on moving!
I hope I will be able to share my stitching works with you soon!

Take care and thanks for visiting!
AND! Thank you SO much for all the Birthday wishes to me!
I appreciate for you all, thank you very very much from the bottom of my heart!

My PIF Members! + Hydrangea

Yesterday, just after a rain, I took some photos of "Hydrangeas" in my garden!
There are so many hydrangeas in my garden, but this year only few has been blooming...

Maybe the end of last year before when we had moved to here, a gardener trimmed all over this garden, but it was not the right moment, that's why there are only few flowers bloom in this year...

So I hope next year that so many flowers will bloom in our garden!!
I love hydrangea's colours very much, this purple is very beautiful and I love it!
And also photo above is very beautiful, isn't it!
It will turn deep purple in a week! I'm looking forward to seeing it!

By the way, this early morning I did drawing to pick up 3 person for my PIF member!
Thank you so much everyone for signing up for my PIF.
