Merci (C) Danybrod AND Little Destroyer

Hi, thank you always for your visit and your comments!
I appreciate for them all.

As you saw before, I stitched and finished "merci" © Danybrod as pincushion.
When I saw this design, I thought of my friends who may love this design, and sent them for them.

I heard that they received my pincushion safely and so update my blog today!
I'm happy to hear that they loved them!
I didn't have the colour that chart called for, so used two colours of DMC for flowers.

Token of Friendship - Rose Pincushion & Egg Candle

Hi, it's been a while since I finished to make something. It's small though, I'm satisfied with it.
I wanted to stitch and make something for my new friend A. in return as she gave me Birthday present.
I heard that she doesn't do sewing etc..., though I made a pincushion with rose design.
I added lots of lavender in it, and stitched on 40ct linen with DMC#310.
Unfortunately when I took these photos, my camera had many of Sweetie's finger prints on the lens, so the photos are not clear at all, though...
But I'm now happy that I found why the camera had been something wrong.

And I added velveteen lace ribbon around the wooden cup, isn't it nice?!
I have the same wooden cup and want to make the same one in the near future.

And also I made and added someself made egg candle and presented to A., too.
It's very easy to make, and it's so lovely!
If you would like to know how to make it, I would take photos of how to make, later!
It makes me so warm while it's lighting.
Here is the photo that the candle is lighting, photo below!

Recently when I pick up Sweetie, Sweetie doesn't want to come home soon, so I have to wait more than an hour at the Preschool.
But it's so nice to have mama friends! So while kids are playing, we are chatting a lot!

Here are some photos of my mini-roses that I bought at first sight love!
All my potted mini-roses wothered and died before, so this time I care of them very much, hope they last long!

Thanks for your visit, and take care!

Happy Stitching!

Happy Birthday dear friend! - "Love Notes"

I heard that my dear friend received her present from Japan for a while ago, but after that no sound... Didn't she like this gift? lol
By the way, Happy belated birthday, dear my friend!

I have shown this as sneak peaks and as finished piece, then I finished as this into a sachet.

My friend doesn't do cross stitch nor embroidery.
This is designed as pincushion, though I added lavender in this mini and long pillow to let her sleep well, as I heard that she couldn't sleep well as she was thinking a lot about something when the last time we chatted.

I was very in hurry, so photos are not good, the below one is blury... sorry!
I added tassells on four conors of this sachet.

Just a quick post, I must take bath with Sweetie, and mum is nagging me to stop
playing with PC as always! lol

Strawberries are getting bigger a little by little.
And getting a bit red, now!
These were taken on 20th, so still green, though!

Must go!!!!
So, bye for now,
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stitching!

Wonderful Presents From My Friends!!

Today as I promised, I am going to share some photos what my friend presented me when we met at the last time!
I'm so surprised how they made such wonderful things in very short time (they also made these for 5 person!!)

Anyway, here they are!! Please enjoy to see their works!

Here is a pinkeep, I don't know and I forgot to ask what designer this is from, but this is very elegant and just beautiful, isn't this!
I also like the backing fabric which is beautiful and perfect match with this pinkeep design!

Here is Banurukotti (or Panurukotti, I don't know how to spell it exactly...) which is a kind of Korean style pincushion!
My friend referred how to make it, but sew each pieces together like when you make Biscornu.
It does need 15 pieces of square to make one pincushion, it's amazing, isn't it!
And please look how beautiful this is! Her works are always perfect!!

And here is also a pincushion in the small basket which is also made by my friend.
It's very tiny and so lovely! I do really love her taste, always!
She is also a very talented lady!!

Compare to their wonderful works, my sewing case is nothing!!!
Their works are so beautiful and sweet, I love them all!!
You see, my friends are so talented, don't you think?
I'm so proud of them and am so happy to have met them online as well as in person!

We are going to meet up next month again, they might be coming to my home next time, or we will go out for sight seeing as where I live is a famous sight seeing place!
I'm very looking forward to see them again!!

By the way, here is my Grass Hedgehog!
She is growing a little by little...
The photo was taken on 22nd of June.
My Grass Dog has dead... I hope he will recover soon...

Yesterday, we had very terrible incident...
When we went out for shopping and when we park, an old guy picked a fight with my husband, and they had argue, actually I was going to arbitrate it, but the old guy called me "Bi*ch!!", that drove me so mad, and so involuntary I jumped in their argument!! lol

Once their (our) argument has finished, we parked and went shopping, but after we finished shopping and went back to the parking lot, our car was intentionally and terribly scratched, deeply and very long (one was
about 60cm, and the other scratch was about 40cm) by key!!!!!
I couldn't believe it!!! It's obviously him, that nasty old guy!
After a long time I got angry so much, and I couldn't sleep at all last night...

We called policeman and we all watched through the video tape for prevention of crime, but it didn't show the place where we parked at all, so it couldn't help us at all...

It was so stressful day, and so I had stomachache...
Come to the conclusion, we had to swallow it... sigh (;'~';)

Pincushions for my mum + her friends

From a long time ago, my mum has been asking me to make some pincushions for her friends who loves sewing very much.
Actually I've received some handmade presents from them, too.
So I also wanted to make something for them, as well.

I have the same style pincushion (which is on
the top banner photo of this blog...), and it's very useful, because the wooden cup is a bit heavy, so doesn't move at all when I use pins.
So my mum asked me to make pincushions with this wooden cup for them.

Now my mum is staying here our place for a week, so I made them quiculy to let her bring back to her home.

These two above are for her friends.Linen I used was a bit hard, so couldn't make beautiful round shape, that's pity, though...

And here at the left is for my mum.
I asked her if she would like to have one for herself, she said "Yes, please", so made her this Violet Pincushion.
I knew she would say "Yes", lol

I could made them for about a few hours, it was very fun to make and finish them in a short time!

I have many tiny baskets in my stash, so would like to make small pincushions for my friends oneday!

"Smalls Exchange" FROM Yasmin

Here it is! Finally what I had been waiting for had safely arrived from Yasmin, from Malaysia a few days ago!
She has sent me a really beautiful "Mattress Pincushion" which I've fell in love, at the first sight at her blog!
Look at this! She also made me a pretty fob, aren't they just so cute and beautiful?!

I can't figure out how can she stitch and make such beautifully like this, even how many times I stare at joint parts...

She added so many goodies as well!
Look at the photo! I love all of them very much!!
Thank you so much Yasmin!

Look at this beautiful stitching... Beautiful... I just can't find any word...
And I love this word "When this you see think of me", yes I'm sure I will think and remember of you when I see this, Yasmin!

There are so many specialty stitches in this design, I hope she enjoyed stitching these specialty stitches and she likes them as much as I do!

Back of this Mattress Pincushion and fob, she stitched our names on them!
It made me very happy, and it will be a good memory!
But it realised and reminded me that I always have been forgetting add names of recipient and mine on the finished piece... silly me...

By the way, thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leave and left lots of comments!!
I'm so happy to read them all and I would like to reply them all, but now I have been so busy working on Christmas stuffs, so I thank you all and really appreciate them a lot!

As I wrote and promised that I will make tutorial page of Needle Minder, I will make it later, as soon as I can!
Take care!

BBP Exchange FOR Claudia

Do you remember what Claudia and I did a BBP (Belated Birthday Present) Exchange a short while ago?
And finally my parcel has safely delivered to Claudia and I've got an e-mail to tell about it from her, so I post some photos what I've made for her here!
I've sent out the parcel to her by Express Mail, but this time it took more than a week, so I was really worried about it... I had been checking the tracking number almost everyday online, and I was going to ask post officer where the my parcel is now...

So, when I've got an e-mail from Claudia today that my parcel has safely arrived to her, I felt so relief!!

By the way, as you already know that my tastes are not so elegant, I think it's in the genre of casual... :D
I knew Claudia loves elegant types of works, so I was a bit worried to stitch for her, and my brain worked so hard to think a lot what to stitch for her! LOL
To stitch and make this "Rose Pincushion" is the second time for me, and this time I added elegant lace around as edging.

And I stitched a small square "Dear Friend" © Elizabeth's Designs, and also added the lace around the edge and made a bourse (pouch) with it!
How is this? Actually it was the first time for me to make bourse, so I didn't know whether it was OK or not so good... :(

But Claudia told me that she loves everything I've made for her and she is so happy to received my presents, so I'm really glad to hear and happy, too!
This design "Dear Friend" © Elizabeth's Designs is actually a colourful design, but I have mostly stitched with DMC#815 and used Hand-dyed thread for the word "FOR A Dear FRIEND" and three hearts!

And... I added "Drop-shaped Coasters" for her to use when she has tea or coffee with friends!
Because I remember that she said she loved this coaster, when she saw them on my blog.
I used beautiful flowery fabric and Pearls and the laces for her, they are special version, lol!

I was soooooooooooo touched by her present for me when I've received, but I was really touched by her e-mail which I've got today!
I felt she really loves my works and her words made me sooooo happy!

Thank you Claudia for being my friend!
Let's do BP or BBP (lol) Exchange next year, too!

Blue Bird Pincushion

I think now I'm in a stitching slump, I don't know why but I don't feel like stitching so much than before, as I wrote the last post.

So I startd to stitch from a small thing, like Pincushion, etc...
Then last night I made this Pincushion!

I was looking for the right size design from magazines, and found this bird!
I thoguht it would be more casual but, after I saw this finished piece, I thought it's not casual at all (lol), so changed my mind!

I added peral-lace around the wooden cup and I sew drop-shaped coaster for this Pincushion. It's actually not my taste (lol), but sometimes this kind of elegant things make me feel gogeous and rich, LOL
By the way, I have so many things to stitch!!
There is no time, shouldn't have rest and nap (lol), hurry hurry!

Rose Pincushion

As I wrote before, my mom has been asking me to make 2 more same pincushions for her friends, but I don't know why I don't feel like stitching them recently at all...
I just thought "Is there any more easier design on the magazines?" LOL
And found this "ROSE" so tried to stitch right now!

But, the design was too small for the wood cup which I wanted to use for...
So I decided not to do this for presents, and used another smaller wooden cup.

How is it?
It seemes a bit rough finishing on the photo though, it's still lovely actual!
