Early Christmas Present

Hi, thank you for stopping by, and thanks for your comment.
I appreciate you taking your time to write down.

Here is my 2012 Christmas ornament hanging on the tree.
This year we have new tree thgroughout a period of seven years, we had a very small tree with  fibre lights, but it wasn't lovely either wasn't good to hang on ornaments as it was small.
So I wanted to show the tree with many of ornaments and lights to my son and I took the plunge and bought them this year!

Tass my son was so happy to hang on ornaments with me and actually this photo was taken by him, he was taking Cocoa's photos and has taken this photo for me, too!
He knows what I want and he is quite good at composing, I think. :D

First Ornament FOR 2012 Tree

Hi, I have just finished the first ornament for 2012 Christmas tree last night!
When I first saw this ornament on this last year's Just Cross Stitch Special Christmas Issue,  I couldn't resist to buy the magazine, and the other day I found and bought tiny buttons, I decided to stitch this design!

こんにちは。昨夜、今年初めてのオーナメントが完成しました。
ここ何年かはクリスマスオーナメントを作っていなかった気がしますが、今年は時間があれば何個か作ってみたいなぁ、と思っています。

I was sure this would be more lovelier if I stitched this with over dyed threads, but once I stitched, I couldn't bear to see my messy stitch, so changed over dyed threads to DMC and stitched piece is here.

Merry Christmas!

Hi, I wish you a very merry Christmas!
Today I'm feeling so sleepy from lack of sleep as Sweetie was so excited to receive Toy (LEGO Creator series) from Santa, and he couldn't sleep well and kept talking to me from a day before yesterday, lol

Here is an ornament that I've stitched a couple of years ago for the class (of course it was free) for beginners.

Merry Christmas - Joyeux Noel -

Merry Christmas - Joyeux Noel!!
How are you spending your Christmas? I hope you do have a very lovely day and holiday!
I spent most of time with my family (include my brother's family), we went out for shopping to buy Christmas pressie for nephew and niece, and also Tass then we came back to his house to see his new born baby Rikako! She is so tiny and so pretty!
As for stitching, last night I finished finishing of Noel (bell), and presented for mum just in time!!
I took photos on a white table cloth, so it doesn't show justice, though I sew two pieces together and made it into an ornament!
I wanted to make the one like beautiful works like Yuko at Casa Mia in Italy did, though I miscalculated to cut the fabric, so I made it into an ornament.

I added my mum's initial (H) lace motif on it and added ribbon.
I was very rush so it isn't beautifully sew together, though mum was so happy to receive unexpected present from me, so I'm happy with it!

I used this above fabric for the back of the ornament. If I make one for myself, I will use more simple fabric, though I thought mum would like this kind of fabric, so...
Unexpectedly, Sweetie saw this ornament and said "I want this, too!!" "Mama, please make one for me, too!!!" and he is still remembering to go for shopping to buy (T) lace motif, lol
I don't know he yet want me to make one for himself, so I will ask him tomorrow.
(I will make one for myself!)

Here is the most loveliest ornament made by Sweetie Tass!
See, he drew "car" on the tree... lol
But I was amazed how he has done, he couldn't make anything like this before, thank Preschool, thank teachers!

Yesterday, mum's friend came with her home made Christmas for Tass.

How kind of her! She is always so kind, Tass likes her, too.

Decoration was done by us, Sweetie is trying to pick whips, like kitten!
Tada-! Lovely cake, isn't this?
As every year, Sweetie and I left some food for Santa and reindeer!
This year I forgot to buy cookies, so we left chocolates and milk, and carrots for reindeer.
Sweetie is looking forward to see this plate tomorrow morning, oh before then he will be surprised by Santa's pressie!

Merry Christmas to you all!
Thanks for your visit!

But we went to see a doctor to check, he gave us Tamiflu just to make sure, so we are feeling safe!
But poor Sweetie Tass, he couldn't be on the Christmas show in Preschool, me neither, I practiced mama's dance though we couldn't go on the show... shame...
By the way, the last week was a surprise week, I received some Christmas gifts, cards, etc...

She also added sweets and teas in the box which is wrapped with pink tissue paper.
Thank you so much, Friend S.!

Thank you so much, Caro for your kindness!
Let's decide when we will do exchange, later.

"Peace" - PIF FOR Staci

I've got a lovely e-mail from Staci that she has received her PIF gift from Japan safely!
It was just in time, I was always remembering about to make her a PIF gift, but I was thinking what is good for her...

Then I remembered that Staci has red and white things in her bedroom, so I decided to make something redwork!
This design is from Renato Parolin, and I fell in love with this design, actually this design has three motifs, one is "Peace" and one is "Love", and the last one is "Joy".

Here is a photo of backing fabric which I choose for this ornament.
I want to make three of them for myself, too!

Here are some close up photos...

And...

Recently Sweetie has interests in taking photos, too, and when I was taking this Staci's ornament, he brought these toys to add to, as I always add some objects for the photo! lol
Sweetie, I think you don't need a hammer!!! hahaha

Oh I was almost forgetting to put this photo on!
Here is another "Peace"!

She is a 2 months old Labrador that my neighbour has decided to have recently!
Her name is "Peace", she is so lovely and they often let us cuddle her! :D
Oh I miss my dog... how cute these eyes! So innocent!

Take care and have a lovely weekend!
Happy Stitching!

"Lilly Of The Valley" - Heart Shaped Ornament

Finally I finished my favourite flower and design "Lilly of the valley".
I stitched two pieces of this design, as I fell in love with this beautiful pattern!
The one I stitched on 40ct linen, I finished into a heart shaped ornament like
danybrod has done.

I liked her heart shape so much, so I copied it, I hope she doesn't mind about this...
And tied Lilly of the valley with dark green organza ribbon, also used for hanging.

I sewed this by hand so the shape looks not so good, though it's still beautiful with this design, I think!

Can you see the canework which is placed back of this ornament with artificial flowers?
This is my mum's work. She has done so many beautiful and wonderful canework for several years ago, though she's got tenosynovitis, so she quit it...

Anyway, here is a back side, I used light green flower motif fabric for the back.
A close up photo is below...

I made another piece into... secret yet!
I will show you on the next post, actually I like an another one very much, so I gave this heart shaped ornament to my mum, as I knew she would love this!

Please look forward to see an another one on the next post!
I don't know which one you might like, though!
Take care + Thank you for your visit!
Happy stitching!

PIF FOR Jennifer!

When I checked e-mail this morning as daily routine, I found an e-mail from Jennifer.
She let me know that she received my PIF (Pay It Forward) gift safely, and in the mail she is so sweet and am so happy that she liked everything that I sent to her!

Here is what I made for her PIF.

I didn't know what her tastes like exactly, so I stitched what I wanted to, and made it into an ornament.
The design is "Little Angel In The Clouds" © Heart In Hand, stitched on 32ct linen, by recommended DMC.

It was quite hard to find the right shape for this design, and it became like this at the end.
I added pom-pom trim around the edge, and added light pink ribbon at the bottom of ornament.
I also added velvet pink flower on top which I forgot to take close up photo.

Here is backing fabric I chose for this design.
I was a bit worried if this design might be a bit childish for her? but she told me she loves this so much, I'm very relieved now! whew...
I have two more PIFs to go (Margaret S. and Staci), and I also signed up for Dovile's PIF recently, so I will invite three person to join for my PIF "Part 2." later again!
I hope some people would be interested in joining for it. :0

I'm going to move again the end of September for my husband's job.
And the present house is very sick!! Where I live is placed near mountain and by the lake, so is very humid, and moreover our present house is very old so mold all around the house, sigh*...
That is why I'm very busy at the moment, no stitching at all again... just packing, packing, packing! ;0
I packed my stitching stuffs already to concentrate on moving!
I hope I will be able to share my stitching works with you soon!

Take care and thanks for visiting!
AND! Thank you SO much for all the Birthday wishes to me!
I appreciate for you all, thank you very very much from the bottom of my heart!

Small Ornaments For Friends!

Thank you so much everyone for stopping by my blog and leaving warm comments!
I have still been working hard to unpacking and tidy + clean up my new (old) house at the moment, so the time I can be online is just at the late night, and just to upload my blog...

So sorry for my friends who gave me e-mails, messages, e-cards,etc...
I haven't been able to replying them at all, but always thinking of you and of course about to stitching!!
I will reply you a little by little when I have time, so please forgive it!

By the way, I have been still talking about Christmas, lol

Here is the small ornament which I've stitched and sent to Angela for Christmas.

The design is from "Homespun Elegance".
As I've heard that it is her favourite designer!

I trimmed it around with green and gold twisted code and added green ribbon on the top and the bottom.

Here is the backing fabric which I've used for Angela's ornament.
It's quite small, so I was a bit worried if it wasn't fit for the foreign big Christmas tree, but I've got a sweet e-mail from Angela and she loved them all what I've sent her, so I felt relief by then!

And this is the ornament which I've sent to Patti.
This design is from Prairie Schooler and from JCS 2002 Ornament issue.

I was quite rush to stitch, so it might be a bit rough finishing... sorry Patti, but if we had a chance to exchange or something like that in the future, I would calculate the time left and stitch very beautifully next time!

By the way, I trimmed it around the dark red single code and added leaf and white ribbon on the top.
I quite like this simple design!

Here is the backing fabric which I've used for Patti's ornament.
I've chosen black coloured fabric to be matched the design.

I've stitched and sent them to both my friend secretly, so they were so surprised to receive the Christmas pressie from me!
It was my intention, and it was fun to make friends happy with big surprise!

They were just from my heart to thank both of you, for your kindness and warm heart!

I hope you two, and everyone has a wonderful happy new year!

Christmas Present Exchange FOR Claudia

For this year's Christmas, Claudia and I talked about exchanges presents each other, but I suggest whatever it's OK, I mean it's no need to be stitching thing, because we will be busy making presents.
And I hadn't confidence to manage one for her, too, at all...
Because I'm not good at control my time at all and have already been booked some ornie exchanges... So, I had no idea whether that I can make one for her or not at all then.

But I could make it for her, too! Yahoo!
I was so happy that I could manage my time to make one for her, too!
Because I really wanted to stitch something for her for Christmas!!!

And what I've chosen for her is from "Just Nan" (I forgot the name, I will add the name later...), as I know that she loves "Just Nan" a lot! It's from JCS Ornaments Issue from 2002.

Actually the square around the joy on the center was recommended to use metal frame, but I hadn't have one, so I stitched it instead...

This was the first time for me to stitch "Just Nan" design and I realised it's quite fun to stitch!
This was absolutely gorgeous and beautiful!

Gold thread made me cry again, though, lol...
I've used wine red coloured velvet for the around and the back and trimmed by gold code.

I've got an e-mail from her and I'm so happy to hear that she loved it very much!

I think this is really suit well for her elegance!!!

But, as I stitched for her, she felt she had to stitch something to me in return, so I think I made her much work... so sorry Claudia, you don't need to stitch something back to me... but I really thank for your kind heart!!!

Baci xx
