Early Christmas Present 2

On 15th Saturday, I've found a parcel in the post, I knew from who and wanted to open then, but had to go out for seeing my brother's family at Toys'R'us (grandma Santa had to buy so many toys for her grand children, lol).

So soon after I came home, I couldn't resist to open it and found beautiful ornament and also lovely message card with neat writing.

15日土曜日の夕方、出掛ける際にポストにお荷物を発見。

「送ったよ～」と連絡を頂いていたので、ウキウキしつつも、出掛ける時間が迫っていたので我慢し、帰って来てから早速封を開けました！

中には・・・

こんなに素敵な天使さんが。段染めで綺麗に刺してあって、オーナメントにして下さっていました！

天使のカードには、優しい綺麗な字で素敵なメッセージが書かれてあり、感動しました。（；＿；）

She was noticed what I haven't been able to start Quaker Christmas © By Gone Stitches although I have already gathered all materials for it on my comment at someones blog.
So she motivated me to try to start QC with her next year!

I know she has a little girl to look after, so I really appreciate for her taking her time for me...

Early Christmas Present

Here is my 2012 Christmas ornament hanging on the tree.
This year we have new tree thgroughout a period of seven years, we had a very small tree with  fibre lights, but it wasn't lovely either wasn't good to hang on ornaments as it was small.
So I wanted to show the tree with many of ornaments and lights to my son and I took the plunge and bought them this year!

2012年作のクリスマスオーナメントをツリーに飾りました。
今までは小さなファイバーライトのツリーしか持っていなくて、ずっと大きなクリスマスツリーに憧れていました。
いつか、いつか、と思っていましたが、子供も小学生になったし思い切って7年越しで念願のクリスマスツリーを購入。
オーナメントも沢山買いました。今年のテーマはレッド＆ゴールド。
リボンは、昔デパートのウィンドウに飾られていた、憧れの縦リボンにしました！

Tass my son was so happy to hang on ornaments with me and actually this photo was taken by him, he was taking Cocoa's photos and has taken this photo for me, too!

He knows what I want and he is quite good at composing, I think. :D 

息子も大喜びで、毎日帰って来たらライトを点けています。

念願だったオーナメント付けも一緒に出来たし、大きなツリーを見ているだけで毎日楽しい気分になってきます。7年越しだもんね・・・

この写真は、Cocoa の写真を撮っていた息子が何やら知らない間に撮ってくれていました。

私が何を撮りたいか、よく分かっていること・・・（笑）

Nikolaus Finish (Stitch) + Cocoa Update

Hi, thank you for your lovely comment for the last post.
Since lovely Cocoa has came here, my blog will be updated more than before as I want to share her lovely photos!

ココアちゃんが家に来てくれてから、また写真を撮るのが楽しくなってきました。
ハムちゃんはジッとしていないので、写真もなかなか撮れないのが残念です。
写真を撮る機会が増えたので、ブログの更新も増えそうです！

And here it is...
Finally "Nicolaus" © acufactum piece has finished to stitch all.
There were french knots and back stitch left, and I couldn't stitch french knots well, so hesitated to keep stitching them...

そして遂に、© acufactum "Nicolaus" のステッチが完成しました。
フレンチノットとバックステッチが残っていたのですが、どうもフレンチノットが全く上手く刺せなくて、少し時間をおいてしまいました。

I appreciate for your thoughtfulness!  Friends who didn't include e-mail address, I replied comment to you back on the last post.

Since I've been diagnosed, I can have medicine for saliva, tears and muscular pain, I have been quite well than before!

I hope I can stay healthy for my son!

診断を受けてからというもの、対症療法ですが薬を頂き、長年の不快感がかなり軽減されてきました！

この病気と診断されたのは多少なりともショックではありますが、原因が分かったので頑張れそうな気がします！



These few days I didn't stitch at all, wasn't in stitching mood, somehow...

But I re-started Nikolaus today and it forwarded well!

Finally Nikolaus shows his face.



ここ数日、全然ステッチモードになれず、ボーッと過ごしていました。

ステッチだけじゃなく、何もする気になれなくて・・・　どうしてだろう。

でも、今日思い直して Nikolaus を再開しました。

今日の数時間でかなり進めて、やっとサンタの顔が出現。

First Ornament FOR 2012 Tree

Hi, I have just finished the first ornament for 2012 Christmas tree last night!
When I first saw this ornament on this last year's Just Cross Stitch Special Christmas Issue,  I couldn't resist to buy the magazine, and the other day I found and bought tiny buttons, I decided to stitch this design!

こんにちは。昨夜、今年初めてのオーナメントが完成しました。
ここ何年かはクリスマスオーナメントを作っていなかった気がしますが、今年は時間があれば何個か作ってみたいなぁ、と思っています。

I was sure this would be more lovelier if I stitched this with over dyed threads, but once I stitched, I couldn't bear to see my messy stitch, so changed over dyed threads to DMC and stitched piece is here. 

Couldn't Be In Time, New WIP, And My Life

Hi, it's a lovely sunny day today, but it's getting be cold here, too in Western Japan.
How have you been doing?
I've just started this "Nikolous" from this month, although I've been keep stitching Boo! Club 2009 © Lizze Kate as I couldn't be in time.

今日は意外にも暖かかったのですが、段々と西日本も寒さが本格的になってきました。
Lizze Kate の Boo!Club 2009 は案の定ハロウィンには間に合わず、放置。
そして、クリスマスに向けて早々に acufactum の "Nikolous" を始めました。

This design has three red colours for Santa's body, can you see the colour difference?
The right side colour is like orange (DMC #606), and I thought it wouldn't be match for his body colour, but once I stitched, it matches so well!

PS "Christmas Sampler II" Finished!!

Hi, it's a very cold day today, might be snowing a little bit later...
By the way, here is a finished piece of "Christmas Sampler II" © Prairie Schooler!!
I finished this yesterday, yes on a Christmas day, but couldn't update last night as I was so sleepy...


Isn't this very beautiful design?
I wanted to stitch all three patterns of this sampler, but it's beautiful so decided not to stitch two more other left patterns.

Hi, I wish you a very merry Christmas!
Today I'm feeling so sleepy from lack of sleep as Sweetie was so excited to receive Toy (LEGO Creator series) from Santa, and he couldn't sleep well and kept talking to me from a day before yesterday, lol

Here is an ornament that I've stitched a couple of years ago for the class (of course it was free) for beginners.

For Santa and his Reindeer! [Edited]

As every year, Tass and I prepared some foods for Santa and his Reindeer on a Christmas Eve!
I remember that I knew this Western tradition about 3 years ago on some stitcher friends' blog. Tthere is no such romantic tradition in Japan, so I remember I was very touched by this story!


Since then, this is our tradition in our home, Tass looked forward to prepare food for them this year, too!
(Canework fairy doll had made by my mum for many many years ago...)

Same as the last year, we prepared some biscuits and milk for Santa, and carrot for his Reindeer!
Tass seemed so fun to prepare for them if they really come or not!
After he went to bed, I ate biscuits with mum and drunk milk and a bit of carrot!
That was quite funny that we were eating them at midnight at entrance!!
If Tass red this article someday when he grew up, he would be shocked!! :(

Whew,,, Carrot was not taste good before go to bed, lol


Here is little Tass Santa, he was very looking forward to have champagne (for kids).
This photo was just after he had some, looks happy, huh?

Sweetie's Christmas Show and a Bird!

Hi everyone, this time I just share some photos of Tass my son's Christmas Show on 17th of Dec.!
Now he is 5 years old and he played cymbals in concert of his class (4~5 years old).

They played musical instruments so well, and they danced and sung!
It's amazing when I think how they remember everything so quickly, I think they just had lessons for a month, though!

BTW, about a week ago, mum called us to the garden (very small one), then when we went out there were a little bird on the rock near by!
So I just went back into house and took some photos of him!
He was SO cute, we have never met him before!!

After that he stayed a little bit, but when Sweetie came back with his shoes with very loud footsteps (as he was excited), a birdie flied away and never came back to us... Sweetie was very sad and he planned to make birdie's bed. He was so well making a little birdie's house, but he never came back... sigh I hope he comes back to amuse us again!

[Edited] A few days ago, "Annonymous" who loves birds left kind comment here to let me know the name of this bird!

Rarely happen... Santa left a Blue Box!

From one week ago or so of Christmas, these advertises of Tiffany&Co. were on the news paper every day.
I was drooling over them every day, but at the same time I was a bit disgusted as I know nobody (it is said my husband, lol) presents me such lovely jewelries!
But...!!!! This year was different!!!"Another Santa" left (actually sent) me a present... with blue box...

Tada----!
Exactly the same colour box, isn't it! lol
Although inside was very different, it rarely happen that my husband presents me!
So I should be happy with this!!!

It really rarely happen, so I was very surprised!!!
If you are my dear friend, you know what I mean, right?
He bought and presented me a scarf for winter from my favourite boutique.
I wanted a jewelry, though I can't complain as it rarely happen!!
(I said "it rarely happen" three times, now! lol)
Thank you, my Santa.

He knows that I'm getting be chubby (chubby or fatty?) this year as I have been taking medicines, so when I saw this box from my favourite boutique, I thought if it's cloths I would never fit in!

Though, he really knows what is happening on my body (lol), so he sent me a scarf, haha!

Here is a plate for real Santa. It seems that he had milk and chocolates and his reindeer ate carrots that we prepared for them.
Tass my son was very surprised again, and seemed so happy!

A few days ago, we went to relatives company and there was field next to the company and we pulled out big and large Japanese white radish!
Look at Sweetie's face! It was fun experience for us to do together!

Merry Christmas - Joyeux Noel!!
How are you spending your Christmas? I hope you do have a very lovely day and holiday!
I spent most of time with my family (include my brother's family), we went out for shopping to buy Christmas pressie for nephew and niece, and also Tass then we came back to his house to see his new born baby Rikako! She is so tiny and so pretty!
As for stitching, last night I finished finishing of Noel (bell), and presented for mum just in time!!
I took photos on a white table cloth, so it doesn't show justice, though I sew two pieces together and made it into an ornament!
I wanted to make the one like beautiful works like Yuko at Casa Mia in Italy did, though I miscalculated to cut the fabric, so I made it into an ornament.

I added my mum's initial (H) lace motif on it and added ribbon.
I was very rush so it isn't beautifully sew together, though mum was so happy to receive unexpected present from me, so I'm happy with it!

I used this above fabric for the back of the ornament. If I make one for myself, I will use more simple fabric, though I thought mum would like this kind of fabric, so...
Unexpectedly, Sweetie saw this ornament and said "I want this, too!!" "Mama, please make one for me, too!!!" and he is still remembering to go for shopping to buy (T) lace motif, lol
I don't know he yet want me to make one for himself, so I will ask him tomorrow.
(I will make one for myself!)

Here is the most loveliest ornament made by Sweetie Tass!
See, he drew "car" on the tree... lol
But I was amazed how he has done, he couldn't make anything like this before, thank Preschool, thank teachers!

Yesterday, mum's friend came with her home made Christmas for Tass.

How kind of her! She is always so kind, Tass likes her, too.

Decoration was done by us, Sweetie is trying to pick whips, like kitten!

As every year, Sweetie and I left some food for Santa and reindeer!
This year I forgot to buy cookies, so we left chocolates and milk, and carrots for reindeer.
Sweetie is looking forward to see this plate tomorrow morning, oh before then he will be surprised by Santa's pressie!

Christmas Cards, Presents from Friends!

Hi, how are you?
Since Sweetie has got Swine Flu, I was with him always, so I thought next tum must be me, but I didn't catch it, but my mum...
But we went to see a doctor to check, he gave us Tamiflu just to make sure, so we are feeling safe!
But poor Sweetie Tass, he couldn't be on the Christmas show in Preschool, me neither, I practiced mama's dance though we couldn't go on the show... shame...
By the way, the last week was a surprise week, I received some Christmas gifts, cards, etc...
I was so happy during the week! :D
Here is from my Japanese friend, she always care about friends and make beautiful things for them.
Luckily I was one of recipient, she presented me very beautiful Christmas ornament!
Isn't this lovely?!

The back of ornament, she stitched rein deer and 2009, this must be one of my treasure and keepsake!
She also added sweets and teas in the box which is wrapped with pink tissue paper.

Here is from Caro in France. Caro and I were talking about private exchange, though I was very busy about Sweeties health problem and also mine, and Caro also was very busy, so we decided to postponing until we will be able to have much own free time.

Happy New Year, 2009!!

Happy new year, everyone!
As I have been taking medicines, I shouldn't have alcohol, but tonight I had it for special occasion and now am feeling so good, ke ke ke!

The new year has already started (in Japan), but let me report about our last Christmas!
The last month, my husband was away for business trip, so only two of us, Tass my son and I spent Christmas together!

Just for two, so I didn't cook so much! lazy mum, aren't I?!
And my son seemed not understanding what the Christmas is exactly, so I didn't ask him what he wants for Christmas, because I knew his answer, it's TOY CARs!!!
He has thousands of toy cars, so we want him to change his mind a bit recently...

I have never heard of this idea before, but the last year I red at someones blog that in Western countries, they left cookies and milk (some food and drinks?) for Santa and go to bed, then next morning when children saw the dish, they have gone and children will surprise! (my memory might be at fault, is this OK??? if it's different from your tradition, please let me know!)
I thought this is so romantic and magical for children and nice idea, so from this year I decided to do the same!

Of course there is no fire place in my house, so we left cookies and milk for Santa on the console table at our entrance, and told my son "if cookies and milk have gone tomorrow morning, it means Santa really came our home!!"
I don't know he really understood what I said, but he seemed a bit excited! :)

In Japan, the Christmas present is always left beside pillow on a boxing day.
How about in your countries?? Presents are left under the tree? In the stocking??

When he found his present beside his pillow, he said "Wow, Santa really came here for me to left a present, Yahoo (Yatta-)!!", it was so sweet!

And here... Santa ate our cookies and drunk milk (of course I did, lol)!!

He was not sure about this story yet, but I told him about it and he said, "Oh, I see! (lol)".
Probably next year he will understand properly. :)

Santa presented him many books.
In his mind, there is always full of cars, so we want him to read books more and more.

I wasn't sure he would be pleasure or not, but he said he is happy to receive books from Santa, so I felt very relief! :)

Before he always asked me to read (show) toy cars picture book, but recently he is getting interested in other story books.
And after Santa presented him books, he asks me to read his favourite book before he sleep! (good thing!!)
Today he even asked me to read English books like Humpty Dumpty which Carol R. gave him before. (actually it was difficult for me, too! LOL)

Books are from Santa, and I presented him a book shelf to store them all!

It was just two of us, but we had a lovely Christmas!

In Japan, the Christmas mood has already gone and now it's totally New Year's mood!!
This morning I will put New Year's wreath on the front door.

So we soon put Christmas tree and all decorations away...

And soon have to prepare for the New year, so this time of year is always quite busy for parents!

Today I should go to PIL's house, but I will not take MIL's nasty words to my heart, I have so many wonderful friends LIKE YOU!!!

And I will buy talisman (lol) before we go there! and will wear the knit that my mum made for me, to feel mum is being with me to cheer me up!

I hope nothing the worst thing will happen on the New years day!!
