"SWAP" FOR Bogi

Today I received a lovely e-mail from Bogi in Hungary that she received a parcel for SWAP safely from Japan!

Since Bogi became my SWAP partner, I checked her blog so many times, and found that she loves CHS and LHN.
I was going to make elegant type ornament for her, but changed my mind as I found her taste!

As I was unwell for a long time, there was not so much time to stitch, then I realized that there is a WIP of CHS's "SOHRH" (block 11) in my WIP box.
So I decided to continute to stitch this design for her!
I was thinking how to finish, though I got a good idea in my mind that to make TIN with this design!

I stitched this on 40ct Wichelt (Sandstone / Tea) with DMC, it was so fun to stitch for her!
I added ric rac tape around the stitched piece, also buttons for four corners!
And added laces around the TIN like this (above).

I used gingham checked (blue x white) fabric for the base and inside of the TIN, and other than that I used like denim fabric.

Here is the close up photo!
I loved this block, because there is whale and so lovely, but coincidence this block's first alphabet is "B" is for Bogi! :D

I really liked how it turned out, so I prepared for another one for myself.
The rest that I have to do is stitch again and cover the TIN lid.
Which block shall I stitch for the next one?!
I hope I will be able to stitch this as soon as I can to organize my stitching stuffs inside!

I'm so happy to hear that Bogi loved everything that I sent her!
It was so pleasure to stitch and finish this for you, Bogi!
Take care and thanks for visiting!
And thank you so much for so many nice comments for "SAKURA" and "My First Easter Stitch"!

I also received beautiful and wonderful parcel from Nina in Hungary!!
I have lots to share with you!

Until then, Happy Stitching!!

Your stitching and finishing is always amazing Yuko and this one is certainly no different. You were so clever to use one of the blocks of Shores of Haw Run Hollow as a design and like you I just love using Wichelt 40ct for stitching anything. Their fabric is just so open and stiff and is my definite favorite for stitching anything. Hope you have a lovely Easter Patti xxx
