The 2nd Angel for the SAL

Again (lol), finally finally I've finished my 2nd Angel for the PS wreath SAL.

I know I have to concentrate on this The PS wreath SAL more and more, otherwise I won't be able to manage it and be in time at all...

But... I don't know why, I don't think I want to stitch these Angles at all (lol)...
I wrote "don't know" but actually I KNOW why I don't want to stitch this.
That's because of full of BS and gold thread.

Gold thread really really makes me tired and crazy!
When I'm stitching in gold thread, I can't see any progress at all (lol), can't go forward at all!

Sigh, sigh, sigh...

I sometime think I feel like changing the design for the SAL even from now, LOL
These angles are really beautiful, but I think I've miss chosen for the SAL...

I just hope I can enjoy this angels and be in time for the schedule!

When I this close up photo of Angel's peaceful face, I feel relief very much and feel "Try to do my best for this!", but a little bit bit bit... lol

Hello Yuko,

Your angels are extraordinary! They are very, very beautiful, and your stitching is just perfect. Don't worry if they are not finished this year. Maybe you can work on them a little at a time and finish in 2008. You can display your angel wreath for Christmas of 2008.

I am also in PS Wreath SAL, and I am not going to finish either!

Hi Yuko,
i agree with you stitching with gold threads ain't easy but when u look at the end result, its just extraordinary beautiful! The angel face looks so peaceful. Tho the process maybe abit challenging, but i'm sure once you complete all the angels, you will like it so much that glad u din't gave up. SAL is fun, with so many stitchers joining in the fun, you will certainly find yours too as u stitch along and count down to your very last one. Happy Stitching!

Its very lovely Yuko.

Remember stitching is for fun and enjoyment. Don't worry that you might not finish this year - maybe it'll be done by next year or the year after it doesn't matter you know. You will get used to stitching and handling the gold thread, use shorter lengths of the thread that might help and I have been told in the past to use thread heaven with the gold thread - I haven't tried using it so I can't recommend. But shorter lengths help and remember to dangle your needle to let it twist round so that the thread is full.

Ciao dolce amica mia,
stitching is fun, so you do not have to be worried about finishing all your stunning angels for this Christmas! The most important thing is that you are happy about your work: you can just display part of the wreath this year, filling empty spaces with ribbons and so on...
HAPPY HALLOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!!!!!
I enjoyed your card, you're soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo kind!!!!
Spooky kisses from my haunted mansion!!!! :D:D:D

Hi Yuko,

Just checked out your blog after being away for a week or so and I found the most beautiful angel. It gave me great comfort as I feel that the angels are around me at the moment. She has the most beautiful face. If you can keep on going as the rewards are great.
I agree with Susimac. Try all the things that she has recommended. They all work. I use Thread Heaven on some of my very fine work and I find that for instance when you are sewing with one thread I don't have any trouble with the tread. Thank you again for posting that post especially yesterday. If you read my blog you will understand why - take care Sandra

I think she's beautiful :o) I agree with you on the gold thread but there's not that much if it makes it any easier for you. LOL!

Dear Yuko,

Thank you for your comments they mean a lot to me. I just have to tell my self that she is now at peace and no longer in any pain. Most of the time I am ok but every now and then you know. As the title of your blog says "Be Happy". It's nice to know that I have a friend in Japan. - Sandra.

By the way how is that beautiful little boy of yours. He is such a cutie.
