The end of summer...

Hi, everyone! Thank you so much for lovely comments and get well wishes!
I'd appreciate for them all, I always love to read all the comments!

As for my toothache, thanks to the medicine that the dentist gave me, it is getting better now!
But as I still have been suffering from stiff neck, I haven't been stitching at all, more than 2 weeks doing nothing is the first time for me, since I have started stitching!
Instead of doing nothing, I have been watching Olympic games everyday, and have been playing with my son a lot!

I hope the dentist will be able to fix my bad tooth next week when I visit him...
I want to do stitch soon!!!

By the way, today is the anniversary of the end of the war.
This song from Naotaro Moriyama is an antiwar song... ("Natsu no Owari" = The end of summer)

"Natsu no Owari" by Naotaro Moriyama

In the lyrics the word "war" isn't used at all, but this song is about a girl has been keep waiting for a boyfriend to come back from the war.
I think this is very beautiful song.

Take care everyone,

Happy stitching!

Happy Surprise - "Naotaro Moriyama"

I have been working on exchange pieces and gifts for friends, so there is no stitching pictures to share yet, today.

A few months ago, an express mail man rung the door bell, but I had no idea what it is, because there was nothing I was expecting, from anyone from any shops.
The mail man handed to me a very thin envelope, and I still had no idea what it is...
But when I saw the receipt of the envelope, I couldn't believe my eyes!!
It was "Naotaro Moriyama"s photo, he is my favourite singer in Japan!

Then that reminds me that I've just entered the draw for his Polaroid picture with his autograph at somewhere online, Yes, that's right! I won it!
I was so happy and was almost going to jump with happiness, although it might sound a bit childish!
I'm still happy to see his photo everyday (it displays on the shelf where my works are), but my husband always tease me and says "He closes his eyes, doesn't he! Poor you, to be honest, this photo is rubbish! lol!"
Actually I thought the same at the first, but even though he closes his eyes, I don't mind, lol

Here is his song titled "Niji (=rainbow)", this is one of my favourite song and this song was made by him and his friend and was dedicated to the Junior high school chorus contest as a set piece.

I mailed my
HOE freebie exchange piece the end of last month, but I am starting to worry as I haven't been hearing anything from my partner yet.
This is the first time that my parcel has been taking so long time to reach to its destination, I hope it will arrive to her safely and hope to hear from her soon...

By the way, I have just started another turf kit in "Hedgehog" version!
This photo was taken on 13th of June.

I just sowed this morning, and have to cover the soil with foil until it sprouts up.

I don't know how long it will take until it sprouts up, but I'm so looking forward to seeing it grows!

I will report of this Hedgehog and also a Grass Dog from now on!
Please look forward to seeing them!

Happy Birthday to my dearest son!

It's my son's Birthday, today.
He became 3 years old, how time flies!

Here is my sweety, wearing headphones.
He loves music, dancing, and crazy for cars!

Daddy and Mummy always love you so much!
And Granddad and Grandmas also love you, too!
Please grow up with lots of love from lots of people.

Here is my son's favourite song by Naotaro Moriyama.

SAKURA...

"SAKURA"... I like this flower very much.
In Japan, we call "SAKURA" for cherry blossom which is very pretty and beautiful.
Recently SAKURA has just begun to bloom (some spots have already been blooming...)

When I see cherry blossoms, I always remember my old school memories... and feel a bit sentimentally...

There are many beautiful songs with SAKURA theme in Japan, but today I would like to share a song which is my favourite.
Most of readers of this blog (thank you for stopping by!) won't be able to understand the lyrics because it's in Japanese, but I just would like you to listen to this song...

"SAKURA" by Naotaro Moriyama

Actually, he is my favourite singer in Japan, at the moment.
My husband always asks me "Why do you like him?? He is not so good looking, he has bandy and short legs, bla bla bla..." LOL!

I don't mind his bandy legs at all, lol... (actually I like his looks, though!), I love his voice, lyrical words, how he sings!
He also does write the lyrics (most of his songs are wrote by his friend and him) and he also does compose.
His mother is also a singer and she has very beautiful voice. I love both of them!
Recently I bought his DVD and after my son slept, I watch it and enjoy a lot! :D

If you are interested in his song, here is another my favourite song, link below...

I'm glad to hear if you also had interests of him or his songs, and am looking forward to hearing your impressions or opinions, as one of his fan! :D
