I just created my Etsy shop online (shop name : Happy Stitching), and just trying to sell them!
I'm wondering if they will be able to be bought by someone and find the right home...

Few more items are sold

Please have a look at them!

Thank you!

Happy Dance!!! - My First "Tilda"

I had been longing for Tilda's works very much from a long time ago, and have been looking at the blog "Tilda Addict's" for a long time!
But I was not confident to make such lovely stuffs by my hands, so had been hesitating to try it out.

But, I couldn't be patient as just looking at them and finally I tried to make one!
Here is my first "Tilda (snail)"!

Ohhhh, it's so lovely, isn't it!
I'm so happy that I could make one by myself!!!
Although when I asked my son "What's this?", he said "A fox" (lol), but I'm quite satisfied of this result!!

A fox... uhmmm why? lol
I did makeup her face, can you see her cheeks are a little bit pink by brusher?

I used black x white polka dot fabric for her shell, and added woolly lace around the joint part, and also added lace knitting flower on her shell.

Here is the close up photo, it's a bit blurry, though...
I added Lavendar in her shell with cotton, so she smells so nice!

I have never thought that I will be able to make one in short time.
I made this snail while my son was having nap.

Actually I can't understand the instruction in French at all, so it will be hard to make more difficult dolls by myself...
But as this is so lovely, I want to make some more and other types, too (if I can...)!

Ahhhh, can you imagine how I'm happy now?!
I have been smiling all the time since I've finished this! lol
I think I will show this to my husband immediately when he came back from work tonight!!!

Here is my Grass Dog, the photo was taken on 28th.
This time I tied up his long hair with red ribbon, lol
How is he?
Actually his face is getting horrible with roots, now he also grow a mustache!
Oh he became an adult (lol), about two weeks ago he was only a baby, though time flies so fast! :D
I have been thinking how to trim his hair...
Until I decide how to do, I will let his hair grow more and more and will see how it will be!

Buhhh, my son is keep saying "fox, fox----!!!" about my Tilda snail...
I hope he doesn't throw it away or break it...

Drop-shaped Coasters [ Christmas ver. ]

I had made this Drop-shaped Coasters before, though this time I made Christmas version!
(You can see them which I've made before, click the "Coasters" from the Labels on the left hand side bar.)

It's nice for the Christmas dinner I thought, although I have to move to a new house (old one, though...) on 24th, therefore this year we can't have wonderful Christmas dinner...

Here is a photo of fabric which I used and the ribbon. It looks very Christmassy, doesn't it?
How are they? I quite like them, aren't they gorgeous?
I've added this for the Christmas present for friends, I hope friends use them for their Christmas dinner or the party.
I do hope my parcel will reach them until the Christmas!!!

I have sent all my parcel out to the recipients yesterday, so what I can do is just to wish them to reach my friends in time!!

And I do really hope friends will like my presents!

By the way, thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving lots of comments!
I'm so glad to read them very much, they always make me happy and cheer me up a lot!
I really appreciate for them a lot! Thank you everyone.
Please write whatever you feel or think from now on, too!

"Think Pink" - My tote-bag

While I was sewing tote-bag for my friends and my mum, I also made for myself with pink fabbie!

This month is a "Think Pink", think about breast cancer campaign month, and I would like to stitch PINK design, but have no pink design at all, so I post this my pink tote-bag.

I was no interests in pink colour before, but recently I really like Pink, I don't know why but it's just cute I think!
I made my tote-bag with pink fabrics and white fabric with lace, and added my initial on the 32ct Law Linen, of course in pink thread!

Now I'm using this bag to organize present stitching stuff.
So now in this bag, there is "Heart in Hand" chart, fabbie, threads, etc...etc...

Sometimes take this to hospital to stitch while waiting for my son's or my turn.

Inside this bag, I used my favourite polka-dot (red one), and added pocket on it.
I played with mine, stamped on the pocket which is mushroom and says "merci", lol
No meaning, just played, LOL
Also added "Y" initial tag on the pocket.

On the right photos are the fabrics which I used for this my tote-bag.

As for the Heart in Hand Autumn stitch, I'm re-stitching pumpkin now, but it's nearly done and I think I can show you the finished piece tomorrow!
I have an idea how to finish it in my mind, but it's still secret! :D

To see all bags which I've made in the past, just click the "Bags" at Labels on the left side bar on my blog!

"Drop-shaped" Coasters

Since I've finished some exchanging, I don't know why but suddenly I don't feel like stitching at all...

so... I've made these coasters by sewing machine!
It's very easy to sew up and there are many ways to use, like...

and like this... I made lots of them and present them in return to my friends who gave me lovely presents before!
I realised when if I don't feel like cross stitching, I would do make something by sewing macihe! Then my feeling would be refleshed and be better!

Pinkeep Exchange FOR Su (2)

As you already know about our "Pinkeep Exchange" from the last post.
During the time when I was stitching Su's pinkeep, I also was making tote bags for my friends.
Unexpectedly some friends' birthday were in the end of June and August, so first off I made their bags for the gift!

Actually I'm not good at sewing machine at the moment (will try to practice more!), but I really wanted to make something by myself for my dear friends!
Su is one of them, I really appreciate her kindness, she tells me lots of things, amuse me always by her wonderful works, she teaches me English, etc.. I really like her tolerance for me or everything!

This time the fabrics are the same with Domy's bag, but I stitched her Initial with moss-green thread (forgot the # of DMC... ), and added white rose button on it!
I imagined a lot about Su, and also added the side lace which is made elegance for the finished bag, I think!

There are also laces on the both sides of bag, and this time I used dark brown handle for Su's bag.

Here are fabrics I used for the bag, I also have made my own bag though, I like this Su's bag the most!
She told me that she will hang it on the cupboard, it made me feel relief.
Because, I think it's the 2nd time for me to sew bags, anyway, it just fits the cross stitch magazines, so can use to organize them, but actually I didn't want her to put something heavy in the bag, because I thought it might be broken, LOL

So, Su your idea is really good choice! LOL
Please leave it as it is now
in the bedroom!!

Surprise Exchange FOR Domy (2)

I have been addicted to sewing machine to make tote bag, and have I already wrote that I made totally 5 tote bags at the same time, LOL

While I was making, I remembered that Domy's birthday is in August!
So I decided to make a tote bag as a birthday present to her!

This time, I've chosen some cloths to suit well for a mature lady, Domy!

I stitched her Initial on the puple linen (actually this beautiful linen was a present from Domy to me!) with yellow thread (I forgot the DMC #).
And added two different types of laces on it.

I used beautiful rose embroidered cloth for the either side of the linen.

And these are the fabbies that I used for this bag, beautiful aren't they?!

I was also happy to hear that she was really glad to have this birthday gift, as well!
The size is just fit for the cross stitch magazines, like "De fil...", "Point de croix", etc...
So if there is no chance to use or if it's useless (lol), please use this bag for magazines to organize!

Too Belated Mother's Day

When I've made a tote bag for my friend's birthday (the last post), actually I've made totally five same style bags at the same time! LOL
Because I'm really not good at sewing machine, so once I finished to make one, I didn't want to do the same process from the first again!

This for my mother, I wanted to stitch beautiful CEDER HILL's bouquet design for "Mother's day", but couldn't make time to stitch for her, so this is really belated "Mother's Day" gift.

Too late, though! LOL

I stitched her Initial with DMC #814 on purplish-gray linen (which my friend Domy gave me before).

Here are some photos of the leather handle (dark brown one) and fabrics which I used for her bag.

She knew that I was making bags, but she didn't know that I'm also making a bag for her, so when I gave this to her, she was so surprised and seemed really happy!

I'm really glad that she is so happy to get this as a surprised present!

I will show you some other bags' photos later again! LOL

Bamboo handle Bag

I found a bag which I've been stopping to make and finish in the drawer.
As I was not in the mood to stitch, I have decided to continue to make and finish this bag.

And I've also found bamboo handles in the same drawer, so decided to use them for this bag.

How is this? It's quite lovely, isn't it?
I hope this won't be broken soon I take this with me, lol

Photos of inside the bags are below, I made a pocket for the mobile phone, as well.
And the flower cloth was the one that was used for a famous designers brand cloths!

Before I've started cross stitch, I used to make small things like this with sewing machine.
But not now...
I actually don't like sewing machine, not good at it at all!
So, the cross stitch is just good for me as a hobby!

How to make "Boat-shaped" Coasters

Today I share you how to make coasters!

How are they? Their shape are a bit unique, aren't they?
It tasked my pea brain to translate into English, but I will try to do it as much as I can!
Maybe you can imagine how to make them from these photos!
And I really hope so, lol ! (*^-^*);; Enjoy!

What you need are...

  • Cloths 2 types

  • Scissors

  • Thread

  • Buttons (If you use them)

  • Pencil

  • Sewing Machine (If you like...)

Please refer the size of cups which I used...

  • Clear Bowl --- Base diameter = 6cm, height = 6cm

  • White Cup --- Base diameter = 6cm, Width = 12cm, height = 8cm

[[[ The size of cloths = 17cm square, margin to sew up = 0.5cm ]]]

  • Japanese style cup --- Base diameter = 4.5cm, height = 7cm

[[[ The size of cloth = 12cm square, margin to sew up = 0.5cm ]]]

Before you cut the cloth, please make sure that you check the size of your cups or glasses! Please ask me if you have a question!

Prepare 2 types of cloths. And then, write the square pattern on them like above photo.

Set both cloths' face inside, then fix them with pins.

After you sewed up, cut the four corners off. Then reverse them, and whip it.

Pull the center of both cloths out, the shape will be the triangle like above photos.

Then, fold the lower part of the triangle up, you'll see the shape like a ship.Inside is like the 2nd photo...

Sew the buttons on to the small triangles parts.
Then finished!

I'm so sorry for my poor English and explanation I hope you can imagine how to make them from these photos! lol

I'd like to see your works when you make this coasters!
If you like please tell me the url of you blog when you post their photos on it, so I can see them and will be happy!
