PS Blackwork Angels - 6th Angel And...

I finally could make the 6th Angel for the wreath!

How gorgeous she is, it's like a Japanese singer's costume, lol

Anyway, it was quite hard to stitch with gold thread on this design, so when I finished this I breathed a sigh of relief...

I'm thinking to stitch only 6 Angels to make a wreath, and finished all of them as ornaments like below.

It was quite tough to make 6 pieces into ornaments, but after I finished them I felt so happy!

デザインの中には横長の物が二つあるのですが、私は縦長の6つだけにしようと思っています。

リースに・・・と考えていたので、取り敢えず全てをオーナメント状（紐なし）に仕上げました。

PS "Blackwork Angels" Again

Hi, I'm working on Blackwork Angels © Prairie Schooler again!

The last post was updated Feb. 2008, it's almost been 4 years!!

I don't know why I had been letting these beautiful Angles alone, it's fun to stitch them again.

I wanted to stitch all three patterns of this sampler, but it's beautiful so decided not to stitch two more other left patterns.

Hi, I wish you a very merry Christmas!
Today I'm feeling so sleepy from lack of sleep as Sweetie was so excited to receive Toy (LEGO Creator series) from Santa, and he couldn't sleep well and kept talking to me from a day before yesterday, lol

PS "Birth Sampler III" For UTA, Framed

Hi, it's been so long time.
I have been unwell again, somehow...
So haven't been stitching much recently, sigh ;(

By the way, I was forgetting to post this "Birth Sampler III" © Prairie Schooler for a long time!
This was a gift for my dear friend's baby girl, and I presented her when we met in Jan.

Her daughter, sweet Uta is so lovely, she was always smiling at me!! :D
I wasn't sure if my dear friend S. likes this (cross stitch work and this design...), but she was really pleased to receive this and so I was very very happy!!!

Prairie Schooler "Birth Sampler III" Finish!!

Last night, I decided to finish this sampler as I wanted to start another design.
I'm so happy that I could finish this earlier than I thought!
My dear friend went back to Tokyo, so when I found the right frame for this, I will send this sampler and some pressie for her in Tokyo!

This sampler is SO beautiful than I was thinking! Chart photo doesn't show this beauty justice, it's so lovely in the real life!!
It's just my opinion, though PS design especially old charts don't show the right colour justice in their photo, don't you think?
When my friend stitched another old design, the colour was totally different and we all were surprised!!

But this sampler and also my friend's sampler both were beautiful than the chart photo, so it's no problem, though!! :D

If I had so much enough time, I would like to stitch "Wedding Sampler III" for her, and also another "Birth Sampler III" for another dear friend even though her daughter is already 2 years old!!

I really hope she likes this sampler and will be happy to see my work IRL!
Hope Baby girl Uta loves this when she grew up!

"Pumpkin Patch" Finish! [Edited]

Hi everyone, how have you been doing?
I have been doing fine recently, as well as my son Tass.
Thank you so much for your kind heart as always, you ask my son and my health in the mails, comments, e-cards, etc...
I really appreciate for your kindness, I'm so touched that so many people in the other countries is concerning about us, how special and how wonderful thing.

As for my stitching (WIP), I decided not to mess around anymore, stitch a few pieces at once, not a lot (lol), as my mum and my friend suggested me not to mess around anymore (lol, Exactly!!), I know that's why I always mess up and can't tidy up on the table!!

So here it is, as I decided to finish my WIPs a little by little, even though it was on a Halloween day, I re-started this "Pumpkin Patch" by PS!
I told my friend about it, then she said "Hello??? It's Halloween, today!!
I think you can hold it until next year, LOL"
And finally finished this yesterday! whew!

It was very lovely design and fun to stitch along as I love autumn designs and colour very much!
Actually I miss count the border, so there is gap between letters and house etc...


I thought to add little spiders or something like that in the gap, but decided to leave it.
Did you notice that??? I shouldn't have mentioned it? (lol)
This year I completed two autumn designs, so I'm very happy about that.
I couldn't frame them this year, but next year I will find nice frames for them and want to display on the wall! :D

I think this linen was "Wichelt Labmswool", I'm not sure, but I don't have many kinds of linen with me, so probably I used the one I wrote below!

My WIPs 0918

Finally the day I can share my works (WIPs) with you came today!
Now I feel good that I can update my stitching works on my blog!
There are so many WIPs, though at the moment I'm stitching them below.

At first, I'm stitching "Dog Lessons For People #143" by Lizzie*Kate.
Actually I was stitching "The Tea Room" by CCN but couldn't concentrate on at all, so decided to change the chart that I stitch to this!
The thread colours call for this chart are very colourful and lovely, so it makes me feel cheerful!
My son Tass loves dog, so I want to hung this on his room when it completed! :)

Next project is "Simple Joys" by LHN.
Actually it's stopping stitching at the moment, so the photo is the same as before I took.

Here is "The Tea Room" by CCN.
I started this with my mama friends, but couldn't concentrate on stitching this at all, so changed the design to "Dog Lessons For People #143" by Lizzie*Kate.


My all mama friends who I'm stitching with (5 people includes me) have chosen LHN or CCN designs as I thought!!
One of my friend is very fast stitcher (on Aida at the moment... but will switch and try Linen soon!), so she has stitched many of designs already!
I will share some photos of her works one day later!

And here is now I'm stitching "Pumpkin Patch" by Prairie Schooler.
I want to buy new chart for Halloween by PS, though if I bought my mum would be mad (lol), so I'm stitching the last year version.
Also my mama friend that I talked about is stitching this, too!

HoE Prairie Schooler Exchange FOR Karen

Got back to blogland! Finally from today I can use Internet at new home!
I'm totally behind from everything, blogging, e-mailing, etc...

My life is busy with unpacking and looking after my little son, but I think I will be able to settle down a bit in a few weeks.
Anyway, I've received a comment from Karen to let me know that she received HoE (Hooked on Exchange) Prairie Schooler Exchange from me safely!

I was quite worried because it took so much time to get to Australia from Japan, and as I worried it has stopped at Customs and they opened my parcel and had confiscated the tea bags I enclosed.
Why why?? They were just normal tea, though!
(I shouldn't have wrote down what I added in the parcel on the paper for Customs, I'm too honest, lol)
Moreover they checked my Pinkeep which I made for her, and untied the ribbon... it's sad, isn't it.
But I'm relieved that they didn't confiscate the Pinkeep either, and am happy to hear that she likes everything what I sent her!

Here is what I made for her with PS design.

I have several of PS charts, but as I felt that Karen has an elegant taste, I thought this design would be suit for her.
This is from A Prairie Garden (OOP chart), and I made it into a pinkeep.
One day, I want to stitch all the flowers on one piece, and want to frame it!

This photo is a bit over flashed, though it's more quiet in the real life.
Here is a photo of pins that I made with clay rose top.

And here is a photo of backing fabric.
This time I used marbled plain cloth for this pinkeep.

I'm very glad to hear that she likes this!

HoE Prairie Schooler Exchange FROM Chris C.

Yesterday I received a parcel from Chris C. for HoE Prairie Schooler Exchange!
It's always so thrilled to open the parcel, but it's more than that when I receive the parcel from who I know.

Here is beautiful flat fold that Chris made for me!
She chose the design "September" from Prairie Year II.

Very lovely, isn't it?!
Here is the backing fabric she chose for this, and her finishing is perfect!
I love red gingham fabric, too!


She also added beautiful cotton fabric, 40ct linen, some beautiful Vikki Clayton silk threads for me!
I love them all, really I do!

[SBEBB] Spring House/Garden Exchange FOR Chris

Hi everyone, thank you again for "get well soon" wishes for me!
Thanks to you, I have been doing fine, this week!
Here are some photos to share of my first SBEBB exchange to Chris.
I joined "Spring House/Garden" theme, and I stitched Prairie Schooler's design.
It looks like pinkeep, but I made it into a small mirror!

Here is a photo of mirror which I've made for her.

I had made a small mirror with PS Autumn design before, too.
But I really love this Spring one in Pink, so I would like to make one for myself, too!

I added very light beautiful pink lace both on top and the bottom's blank area, I think they made a good accent and made this mirror feminine and romantic!

Luckily I had quite similar coloured ribbon in my stash, so used it for around the edge and tied a ribbon in a bow on top.

Here is a close up photo of backing fabric which I used for this time.

I think the colour matches so well all together, and pink made me feel very Spring time!
So I'm satisfied how this turned out, very much!

I saw that she loved this small mirror and what I've sent her very much on her blog, it made me very happy, as well!

Mine hasn't arrived yet, but I think it will reach me soon!

So everyday it's very exciting to check the mail box nowadays!

I know quite many people around me (include online friends) have been ill recently...
As I was miserable when I was ill for 2 weeks, I hope not that the same things happen to anybody else!

[HOE] Pinkeep Exchange FROM Jayne

Hi everyone, it's been a while since the last time I posted...

Thank you so much everyone, cheering me up, warm wishes, on the last post.
Actually I still have been ill (having a cold), it's been about 2 weeks now.
Finally my fever went down today, but still have slight fever and bad cough.

By the way, here is my HOE (Hooked on Exchanging) Pinkeep Exchange from Jayne (no blog) in the UK!
She spoiled me a lot, she added Bent Creek chart which was in my wish list, beautiful fabric, Altoid's (strong peppermints!) and lovely red thread and beautiful Pinkeep!


Here it is! She stitched from Prairie Schooler's design and made it as pinkeep.
I love it very much, especially the beautiful ribbon and beads pins combinations!
That's really beautiful.

She stitched her name and her country on the back of

pinkeep.

I always forget to stitch on my name and where I live on the back of work when I exchange... from next time I shouldn't forget it!!

Here are top pin and ribbon which she added to this pinkeep, isn't this beautiful?!

I love this very much, colour matches so well together and she added beads pins around the edges, too.

Miniature Pinkeep

About a week ago, I joined in "Monthly Finishing Challenge" and the March Challenge was a "Pinkeep", so I made this pinkeep for the March challenge!
This is actually very very tiny as the title of this post, it's a miniature pinkeep!

The left one is a normal egg! So can you imagine how small this pinkeep is?!
It was fun while I was stitching as imagining how it will be at the end.

This is from Prairie Schooler's new promotion card "Peep".

Actually I miss chosen the fabric (lol), and that's why this became very tiny, but I thought it would be very fun if I could make a very tiny pinkeep.
As it's so tiny, I couldn't use a tambour to hold the fabric, so it was a bit hard to stitch, but was very fun!

Here is the backing fabric which I used for this pinkeep, it's printed hens and chicks, so I thought it would be a perfect for this pinkeep design!

Here is a photo of ribbon and pins!
I added yellow gingham checked shrunk ribbon on top.

Now it's placed next to my Prairie Autumn Mirror, and it's so tiny and cute!

April Challenge is a Needle Roll. I have never made any needle rolls before, so I don't know I can make it or not... I'm a bit nervous now, lol...
But I have a very lovely pattern, so will challenge it!!
Please fingers crossed for me! :D
